“Great Pre-Event”

Stayed at the Green Man as the boxing was @ Wembley, Location is perfect stones throw from the stadium the bar is very lively lots of space and a lot of bars dotted around so ques don't build up plus a massive garden. The hotel is not too shabby the decor is dated and looked like it needed a bit of maintenance, decent sized rooms with everything you need ideal for one night's stay. everything worked out the only downside is the staff didn't seem very helpful and a bit rude.

Went to The Green Man yesterday for League One playoffs, when we arrived the pub was already busy but walked to an outside bar and got served straight away. The grounds are lovely and big and accommodates the football crowd really well. They did however close the pub at 9:00pm last night as the crowd was not big enough to keep it open, would have stayed open later if more fans had of been there.

You have to be lucky enough to get here quick enough as green man gets that busy as every one wants to go there. I went as a football fan before the game at wembley and it has such a good atmosphere! The bar staff are lovely and they had an outside bar and BBQ that day as it was gorgeous, beer garden is big and I loved my experience at the green man :)

Me and my partner have just stayed here as we were going to a show at Wembley Arena. We looked at all the major name hotels (Hilton, Ibis, Holiday Inn) but they were all £100 plus a room for one night so we opted for The Green Man.

The pub and staff were excellent. Very friendly staff, amazing food, great prices (For London) brilliant atmosphere. We spent all afternoon in the pub before heading out to our show.

The hotel room, unfortunately, undoes all the hard work of the bar staff. The walls were dirty there were handprints everywhere. The furniture was old and on its last legs, our bin was a XL paint tub, the lights all had exposed bulbs and one if the plug sockets was hanging off the wall. There was also a rather large hole in one if the walls. The TV didn't work properly and the shower was so weak I'd have been better off if my partner had stood above me and spat on me.

If you are looking for a nice place to get some food and have a drink then I'd highly recommend this place. If you're looking for somewhere to stay. Pay the extra and stay at The Hilton.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked into this place. I was a little worried reading reviews on here before i went but i thought oh people are just looking at something to pick at, but when i saw this PLACE ON THE HOTEL INSPECTOR a week before i went i knew that the reviews true after spending a night there! i went there just for the night with my boyfriend as i was going to a gig the following day and wanted a cheap place to lay our head before we went and stayed near the o2, but there's cheap and then there is this - was hoping would be lucky and get one of the 2 rooms out of the 11 that were resolved after the programme but nope! walked up the stairs, (noone on reception still!) opened door, and the light didnt even work, the table was dirty, there were abusive writing up the walls, brown suspicious marks sprayed up the wall next to the wardrobe, no mattress protector could feel the springs and such a back ache in the morning - even searched for other hotels to book on my phone within 5 mins of arrival (10pm) but everywhere was booked. there were two lady birds and a spider to greet me when i went for a shower, the bathroom window didnt open and was filthy. paint was stripped down to the wood in bathroom window sill- wouldn't have a bath in there! shower curtain ripped. floor round the toilet stained yellow, the bath surround was kicked in and to top it off i held onto the sink sideboard whilst getting out of shower and it wasn't attached and fell through! now reading this your probably thinking i was exaggerating - but i am not trust me, i have only just signed up for trip advisor now especially to do this as you need to be made aware!! please do not stay here :( and Mal (landlord) after seeing your desperation for help on the hotel inspector i really thought you would of turned the rest of the rooms around especially after inviting local businesses to look at the rooms - but you have let yourself and the place down - this really isnt fit for anybody

Room Tip: Ask for one of the two ones that were refurbished by the hotel inspector!

Budget accommodation close to Wembley. Lovely owner and the rooms are very clean and excellent value for money! Good location to commute to the major attractions too. It's not the Ritz but you can't expect that for they money.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone it is not cleaned properly and you do not get good value for money. The breakfasts are very poor and the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. The rooms are not up to standard and are very overpriced.

Room Tip: stay clear of the place altogether is what I would suggest
