Description: If you want high quality Pub Grub...Great portion size and value for money then this is the place to go. We have tables in the bar areas and outside and a family room with books and pictures to colour for the kids. We have a restaurant area where service is by waitress and the menu is as the down stairs but the ambiance differs from the bar areas for those wanting the quality of our food with that extra special service. We have live music on Saturday nights therefore all tables are removed from the main bar area leaving seating in the bottom bar and family area. This is always a busy night so booking for a meal is always necessary. The music starts at 9.30Pm till 12.30Ish and can be view on our web page. We also have many events which are well worth a visit always with great entertainment and always for a deserving cause.

I loved the buzzy atmosphere of this lively old pub with a very pleasant old interior, it was almost full with lots of people in the bar area and also the restaurant area at the back was very busy. Service both at the bar and at the table was very polite and professional. I was really looking forward to my meal after seeing the huge portion sizes being served up but was very disappointed with my fish & chips selection from the specials board, sadly the fish really didn't taste very nice and the texture/consistency wasn't at all good either so I couldn't finish it. This was a shame as the pub itself was very welcoming with excellent beer and would definitely come back for a drink, but from this experience, not to eat.

its was ok i like old world pubs that look a bit grubby (alot in this case)but it was fine i do think its more of a locals pub really , it one of those places u walk in and everyone stares at you think whos this then and by the men i felt like i was a new fresh peice of meat they had to taste , its a good thing im thick skinned cus if im honest if i was a nieve young women i would have been very uncomfortable in there . but everyone were very friendly and welcoming after afew chats .THE LOCALS ARE A LITTLE CRAZY but i kind of liked that.

Staying in Tintagel for a few days, we came across this lovely Pub/Restaurant in Boscastle. We had a really lovely meal in the upstairs restaurant. A lovely, very pleasant young lady served us, I believe her name was Becky. The food was very good & we enjoyed the evening so much that we went back the following evening.

The Cobweb Inn is a lovely, welcoming pub in the small village of Boscastle. It has quite an old fashioned look and feel which is very comforting. The food is absolutely fabulous and served in very big portions! The atmosphere is very friendly and warm and the staff are happy and polite. We liked it so much that we went again the next day and then again in the evening. I would say definitely the best pub I have ever been to!

We arrived on a busy Saturday evening and, with no tables available in the main pub, were offered a table in the restaurant, which is accessed from an iron staircase outside. The two girls on duty in the small and busy restaurant deserve special mention for their friendliness and efficiency. We both had fish dishes from the specials board and while they weren't exceptional we were very happy with both meals.

Visiting the pub on weekday afternoons was a completely different experience, when food wasn't being served. The place really came into its own as a traditional local and we had a very pleasant couple of hours enjoying good Cornish beers or ciders in a relaxing atmosphere.

We also had the takeaway fish and chips one evening and, for a reasonable £7.50 each, we had excellent (and huge) pieces of white, moist fish in a light beer batter, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Highly recommended but also try The Napolean at the very top of the town, which isn't as convenient to get to if you're staying in Boscastle near the harbour end but was also very good for food and had a great choice on the specials board.
