Description: If you want high quality Pub Grub...Great portion size and value for money then this is the place to go. We have tables in the bar areas and outside and a family room with books and pictures to colour for the kids. We have a restaurant area where service is by waitress and the menu is as the down stairs but the ambiance differs from the bar areas for those wanting the quality of our food with that extra special service. We have live music on Saturday nights therefore all tables are removed from the main bar area leaving seating in the bottom bar and family area. This is always a busy night so booking for a meal is always necessary. The music starts at 9.30Pm till 12.30Ish and can be view on our web page. We also have many events which are well worth a visit always with great entertainment and always for a deserving cause.

“First Cornish pasty!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2014 via mobile

Came here for Dinner when visitting some friends in Boscastle. First ever cornish pasty; very tasty and plentiful! Large portions and reasonably priced! Nice environment; very relaxed and peaceful place to go for a pint or a bite to eat!

“Good choice of menu with good real ales”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2014

This is a very friendly inn used by visitors and locals.
The beer is good and there is lots to choose from on the menu.
There is lots a outside areas and several bars inside, but it is popular, so pre booking may be a good idea. Prices are about average.

“Lovely pub”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2014

Only had a drink here and some nibbly bits but it was a welcome break for the thirsty late at night. Real pub with a pub feel with not just tourists but also locals which adds to the atmosphere. Nice cider, good beer, nuts, what more do you need to recharge a bit.

“Excellent old traditional pub.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 June 2014

Spent 8 days in the area and visited this pub on 3 occasions. The atmosphere around the pub is very traditional and the food first class. The staff are excellent and attend to every request. If you enjoy real ale this is the place to go. I counted 7 on tap whilst there and really enjoyed the Harbour Special. We visited at the same time last year and will hopefully return soon. I can fully recommend this pub for a casual visit or a more formal experience.
