We bought some provisions and then sat outside and had a very good coffee and the biggest pieces of cake we have ever been served. The treacle tart was so delicious.
The pork sausages we bought at the meat counter were fantastic. The farm shop was on the pricier side but everything we purchased was very good and restaurant standard.

We stopped off here for a quick rest on the advise of the a Cornwall App from my iPhone, it's was said the view and food was something to remember, and I can truly say, we was not disappointed.

We are traditional home made Cornish pasties, and even though they were the last two in the shop, they were Fantastic! So filling and tasty and the pasty was spot on, then we had some of the Cornish ice cream, mine with some cake, and that was just as good as the pasty, but what really made the whole experience so good was the amazing views from the outsides eating area (with a lovely child's play area).

The staff in the shop/cafe were so lovely and welcoming, even though we arrived really later just 30 mins before they closed, they still served us with a smile! One lady told us of her child hood memory of Cornish pasty's that her mum used to bake, and the best way to eat them was wrapped in a paper bag, so her mum used wrap the pasty in a bag and she used to take it outside to eat it...ha ha, bless!

The Boscastle Farm Shop is also a café and it has wonderful views along the coast. The people are friendly and the food is local and fresh and they serve good simple recipes. They have created a very good space to eat in, with wooden tables and big windows. It is so popular that you would be well advised to book a table in advance (ask for a table next to a window) - they only do lunch. It is near the coastal path - well worth walking from the café, but of course wear the right footwear as it is can be muddy if wet and is steep in places. Boscastle itself is a good place to explore - the Farm shop/café is not actually in Boscastle itself, but you can walk there along the cliffs and when we do it, we return inland, which is an easier walk (uphill much of the way, but if you are reasonably fit it is not too challenging) We go to Cornwall regularly and never visit without at least one meal at this café.

This popular farm shop and cafe occupies a great spot atop a hill just north of Boscastle, overlooking the coast and with direct access to the Coast Path. Staff were friendly and the lunch menu was so tempting that in simply looking at it we immediately wanted to visit again during our holiday, which, after an excellent initial meal there we duly did. Between us we tried the fisherman's, the huntsman's and the ploughman's platter and the burger. All were tasty and very well presented. All were generous in portion except for the platter on our second visit which had a measly portion of bread compared with our previous experience (hence 4 rather than 5 stars). The burger has to be the most moist burger I have ever had (apart from my partner's homemade ones of course!).

Walkers are welcomed...and encouraged. The proprietors have helpfully provided a poster of marked walks available from their doorstep of various lengths, including down to Boscastle proper. The cafe is 30 metres from the Coast Path (and is signed off the path) and the staff kindly let us keep our car in their car park while we made use of one of their shorter marked walks.

This is a working farm, so be aware to leave space enough for farm vehicles to manoeuvre through the car park, lest your car be the subject of much (friendly) mirth from the farmer, as one customer found out.
