Owner description: This 3.6 mile moderate walk follows part of the South West Coast Path from Boscastle along the cliffs bordering the ancient fields of Forrabury, before heading inland through Minster Wood, and then along the Valency Valley. In 2004 these steep-sided valleys funnelled 440 million gallons of water through Boscastle village in 5 hours, causing devastating flooding.

A sometimes rugged path that constantly rewards the hiker with views of the stunning north coast. Bring your camera, a bottle of water and a snack mostly because you will just want to keep going and going.

a fantastic walk from here to tintagel - stunning view of the coast. we couldn't do all of it because my old dog couldn't make it over one of the walls, but fine for fit young dogs.

Boscastle has been my favorite hair our village since 2007 when my partner first took my to visit.

The Cobweb pub provides excellent food for value for money, an old pub with character and well dressed staff.

While visiting the Barbour today, people were swimming in the Barbour water, never seen that before, and canoeing! The wind was non existent and the sun beamed down.

There was a duck race due to stat at three pm, so lots of stalls on the green for adults and children alike.

It was fabulous to see a village once so ravaged by nature, come back to life and be profitable for all the businesses.

The ice cream at the national trust shop is lovely and very good value for money.

Go check it out.

The coast Path north of Boscastle is s bit of work but the views make it well worthwhile. Also take the Valency Valley trail to St Juliots Church

A beautiful rugged walk along the coast. Absolutely stunning scenery. Boscastle itself is a charming village. Be sure to take time to explore their visitor center and if the spirit moves you, the Witchcraft Museum. Fascinating!
