Owner description: This 3.6 mile moderate walk follows part of the South West Coast Path from Boscastle along the cliffs bordering the ancient fields of Forrabury, before heading inland through Minster Wood, and then along the Valency Valley. In 2004 these steep-sided valleys funnelled 440 million gallons of water through Boscastle village in 5 hours, causing devastating flooding.

We always visit here when down in Cornwall. There are lots of little shops that we like to visit before walking down to the harbour and round to the blow hole.

We walked along here in the evening of our one night stay in Boscatle, and what an idyllic spot. We only had the one night, and having seen only a small portion of this area, we are keen to return in future to explore further.

Wonderful views. Not a lot of people around as in other coastal towns. We found the walk not too arduous and as the weather was perfect it was great to spend time walking at our own pace.

We walked from Boscastle through to Tintagel. It was a great walk of around 5-6 miles. We managed very well but there are a far number of very steep stretches which could hinder some who are not so nimble. The views of the coast are fantastic and truely worth the sweat and aching limbs

We walked the coastal path a few times during our short stay in Boscastle. The views are just beautiful so make sure you take a camera. It is a very undulating path and slippery and narrow in places so worth wearing decent footwear. It wasn't really busy when we walked it but I'm sure it is well used.

Every time we walked the path we saw a kestrel hovering close by. I did have a Sunday morning run along the path too, I rather underestimated how steep the path was heading out of Boscastle harbour and the challenging terrain but a really nice path to run. I did have to stop and take a little photo!
