We eat here once or twice a month. We have taken many friends and family there over the years. The food is bountiful and fresh. They even cater for wheat free diners. My children love it there. Prices are very good and the food has never disappointed us.

Staff are always delightful...

The only negative point, is that they are very busy so it's best to book as we have not been able to get a table. (This is because they are very very popular and not a negative on their food or services)

Had a lovely breakfast, great views, service and price. Very friendly staff. A must visit for a quick decent meal at a very acceptable price

We were recommended to come out here by some old ladies in the bus queue after we had been turned away from Benedict's tearoom at 4pm. A five minute drive and although there was a good deal of Hoovering and tidying Louis' was still operating and had plenty of cake hot drinks and more. A large water bowl for dogs outside. Many cars in the car park, a bit of bustle and laughter and an impressive view across the Tamarac valley towards Devonport. Slightly odd collection of farm birds in enclosures near the entrance drive but nothing too off putting. My brother opted for a home made pasty that tasted a bit as though it had spent a while in the warming cabinet and had a surfeit of chuck steak or similar but everyone make pasties their own way so no cause for complaint. This is not a remotely precious or upmarket place, quite the reverse but they were hospitable, keen to please and looked after us. What more could you ask for?

enjoyable visit with very good food. Ham egg and chips of standard menu very tasty with generous portion well cooked. Venison suet pud with veg was excellent with all good fresh veg and mash. Pud turned out to be more pie like but tasted excellent. Also took away pasty made on site which was the closest I have had to mum made 'twas ansom!

Louis' tea room is always a pleasure to visit, Richard, Cath and their team do a great job to supply good food, nice atmosphere and of course those great views (on a clear day!!) and the animals roaming around.

Their breakfast menu is to die for but also their amazing range of freshly prepared food both lunch time and evenings.

I really recommend a visit and try first hand a really nice place.
