Charming. Homely. Best bedding and beds I have slept in a a long time. Great facilities. The best compliment I can give is my 9 year old asked if we could sell our house and buy it! One thing. You WILL bang your head despite the warnings. We kept a running total. The roads to the place are narrow and a pain but less than 5 minutes and you are out. It’s no more than an hour from wagmuggle to anywhere good. Great Chinese in town. The field stream and lake in the garden (practically) made our boys stay. I would love to come back in autumn when it’s chilly. There are 2 huge burners. Simply excellent. Thank you.

Reviewed 21 September 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Fantastic holiday location very quiet but not too far away from town shops, The cottage is lovely it's spacious and as all you need including a ice machine, the owners are really nice and friendly,we had our little dog with us and he couldn't get out of the big garden it's secure all the way around, I go on a lot of holidays in the year home and abroad but never comments on them but I really enjoyed this cottage holiday and can recommend it and will book again in the near future

“Trewoodloe a perfect place”
Reviewed 5 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

In a quiet rural setting sit Trewoodloe and Wagmuddle we booked Trewoodloe for our wedding anniversary it was just perfect for us as we like to get out and about it sits in a few acres of woodland up a small lane so if you don't like peace and quiet this is not the place for you. The cottage has everything you would need all for an enjoyable holiday.
From here you can visit any number of places as it is quite cental like Bodmin Moor ,Looe, Port Isaac,Padstow, Plymouth and many more we especially liked the Moors which were just a couple of miles up the road.
All in all a quite spectacular place we would come back again.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review Trewoodloe....We are delighted you had such a lovely holiday. Wagmuggle and Trewoodloe are situated in the most peaceful valley in a forgotten but nonetheless beautiful area of Cornwall. However, it is a fantastic base to explore both Devon and Cornwall, being only a few miles from the main routes into Cornwall.
We would be very happy to welcome you back any time and thank you again for your review.

“Magical”
Reviewed 8 June 2015 for a stay in October 2014

I have never written a review before but this Holiday Cottage is so wonderful I felt I had to write one. We visit Cornwall regularly as my son, daughter in law and 2 small grandchildren live there. Normally we stay elsewhere but on this visit my sister and family joined us so we needed a larger cottage. What a find, Waggmuggle is the perfect place. A quiet rural location with beautiful surroundings. My elderly disabled Mum came with us and enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, the dogs loved the garden and so did our grandchildren. The cottage was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. and very dog friendly. After a 7 hour drive the tea and scones were very welcome, and the card with the personal note was a lovely thought. The other cottage Trewoodloe will be perfect for my husband and I, when we visit Cornwall by ourselves. It is a magical, mystical place and we can't wait to go back. A big thank you to Tabitha & Polly.
