Went for a meal and sat in the garden as it was a lovely evening. Good choice on menu, something to suit all tastes and budget. Excellent service from a friendly, professional waiter. Would definitely return.

Stayed in Camborne for 2 days, on the 2nd night found this excellent restaurant within the hotel.
We were a party of 5 and the food and waiter service was excellent! Would highly recommend the restaurant and service. When we visit again we will definitely try to stay at this hotel.

We have ment to drop by for some time and was glad we did. The menu was decent although the price a tad high. Pleasant friendly staff, clean eating area, free easy parking and walking distance from the police station....all you need on a wet and windy day.
Will we go again?,certainly will try their carvery at some point.

On the 17th January 2014 i booked a christening party for my daughter aged 12 and my two granddaughters aged 6 and 9 months,i ordered a buffet i wanted the big restaurant but was told that as the christening was on a Sunday and they serve carvey we would have to have the old restaurant from 12pm until 2pm 2.30pm the latest, that was fine with me i was told that the big restaurant would be decorated in pink for the girls, the cake would be on a stand and the cupcake's on a nice stand and our buffet food as well as a disco we couldn't wait for march 16th.march 16th arrived and when we walked in the atmosphere had changed but because they were busy with the carvery in the big restaurant i thought by 2pm it should be fine,by 2.30pm i thought i would ask how long until we move down for the disco and was told by Adele a receptionist that i hadn't paid for anything,i thought it was a joke, but she was serious it wasn't on the computer but i got my receipt i said well you will have to get i was told,so i went and got it but it made no difference it took an hour to sort out when we got in the big restaurant our cakes were put in the back of the room the disco which i paid a further £160 for was a waiter who just sat there looking like he wanted to cry no microphone just music which had to be turned down because there were guest's upstairs, the waiter was given £40 cash in hand to play the music and the buffet food didn't arrive, there is so much more u could write about the hotel and staff, the reason for the changed attitude towards us at the hotel is simple and i am going to prove it,it's because my family are travelers,as soon as Adele realized that we were travelers she and the rest of the staff tried to get us out every time a bar man opened a glass bottle it was smashed into a bin Adele grabbing a drink from my daughter's hand and shouting at her we stayed until it closed which annoyed Adele , the girls christening party was runied by them,i rang and told martin the manager the day after the party and he offered me £40 i said no thankyou i am taking this further, which i am the lowenac hotel Camborne needs a completely new attitude towards other ethnic groups i would not even drive past it ever again,my family have been good about how they were treated but i am embarrassed and ashamed by the hotel i so stupidly book.

my partner and I went here for pre xmas dinner. The table was set out lovely and the service and food were very good. There was a disco after and even though we did not stay, we thought the price was very good value for what we got. We have been to lowennac before and have never been let down. We will be going back again in the future.

Works Christmas dinner here, food average, drinks not very well stocked. Disco was okay, but as soon as he had everyone on the dance floor he changed the music and lost them all again! What really got me though, was I emailed the Hotel to book a room for the night, a bit of a Christmas treat....had email acknowledgment of the enquiry, but never heard from anyone again! Not even a thanks but no thanks! Rather rude. I take and make room bookings, and would never treat a potential customer that way! Lost revenue and a mediocre review.

Went to this hotel for lunch on Boxing Day for 12 noon. We arrived slightly early and were seated by 1155. The service was exemplary and we were served our starter right away. The food was excellent and was of sufficient quantity. It was nicely presented and the staff were polite and helpful throughout our meal. The price was extremely good - £16.50 per person - this was 4 choices of starter: 4 choices for main course (this was a carvery or there was a fish dish): 4 choices of dessert, Coffee or tea and warm mince pies. The choice of vegetables was great. This hotel does a carvery twice a week and has a fish and chip evening once a week. This is our second visit and each time the whole event was very good. Highly recommended.
