“simply the best....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2014

This has got to be THE best biking b&b in England if not the whole of the UK. Superb hospitality, Kathy is a genuine, funny, kind host where nothing is any trouble for her. One of our guys doesn't eat red meat, so instead of the pasty she done him veg burger and chips!!!!!!! where else would you get that hospitality...Nothing was a bother to her, the rooms are spotless, spacious and have all you need. i.e tv, tea/coffee facilities, biscuits and bottles of water..little touches that make a huge difference. The bike lock up is superb with the extra space for wet clothes boots etc, not to mention the games room, which has a pool table and dartboard... Over and above what most people would expect for the price per person that Kathy charges. Miss this little gem (and the b&b) at your peril. Quite simply it IS the best. We are planning another visit and we are in S/W Scotland.... YES!!!! it is worth coming down that distance.

Like a home from home.Welcomed with a free pastie ( proper Cornish like) and a can of splosh sets the tone for the rest of your visit,Attentive, but laid back with it, nothing is to much trouble and even the oddest requests are taken in their stride.Fantastic facilities including a massive lock up with drying space and a purpose built club room with free pool table and gas BBQ make the experience even better.

7 of us have just returned from a long weekend away where we stayed with Kathy and Phil. On on arrival they were so welcoming and they made us feel so at home with of course the added bonus of a lovely hot pasty and a drink, what more of a welcome do you want :). The secure lock-up for the bikes was excellent with even a hanger rail for our jackets along with a unit to store your helmets there was also additional space to leave boots etc which meant we didn't have to cart them all indoors, how great is that! The lounge/diner was great with TV, WiFi a fridge for any drink you wanted to buy. The rooms were lovely bright and clean with Tea, Coffee and biscuits,TV, a hairdryer which was a decent one :) and a must for us biker chicks and lovely en-suite facilities. There was an indoor games room with pool, darts and karaoke and another fridge for you to use. No issues if you wanted to bring food in, order take-aways or even have a BBQ (lovely brick BBQ to use) as there was plenty of cutlery, crockery, glasses etc for your use. Kathy and Phil being bikers know what it's like to go away and therefore cater for us 110%. Breakfast well, you wouldn't go away starved that's for sure, it was fantastic and lots of it. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are really lovely people and such a laugh, we had some lovely conversations with them. All I can say is we didn't want to leave and asked if we could move in :) Miss this place at your loss, I will certainly be going back again. Marilyn

Stayed just one night cycling from lands end to Portsmouth. Kathy and Phil were great hosts and I was really spoilt, their hospitality was outstanding , the accommodation was clean, everything worked and the food fantastic. Safe storage was provided for my bike, wifi worked well, a perfect stop over and the best during my cycle from lands end to Portsmouth.
