Arrived after a very long drive to be greeted outside by a warm welcome, fresh coffee bought straight to the room and we were shown local sites on a map. Breakfast was fresh and lovely and the room was stunning, best bed in a hotel. Only here literally for 20 hours but am booking for a week next year, great place for a base for cornwall

A warm welcome with cosy, clean and comfy rooms. A tasty home coked veggie breakfast, even for those non veggies......Wonderful beaches within easy reach. Would recommend and will return in the future.

My wife and I stayed here for one night while we were on a long distance cycle holiday. We were welcomed with a pot of tea which was a life saver after a long days cycling in the sun. Gary and Debbie were great, provided secure storage for our bikes overnight, suggested and booked us a table at the local pub for dinner and made sure we had all we needed in the room.
Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, yoghurt and cooked options.
Very good value and wouild definitely stay again.

Gary and Debbie could not have been more hospitable or considerate. Our visit was everything we could have wanted. We had a week of 100% perfect weather which helps of course. Our dog loved the place. Tons of good food for breakfast. It was great just to sit in the well-kept garden,

North Cornwall is quieter that the south, though it's only 24 miles to St Austell which seems like a big city compared with the north. There's lots to do locally - walking on Bodmin Moor, along the Camel Trail (by the River Camel), and the path along the rugged cliffs.

Bodmin Jail is spooky. Many pleasant villages including Port Isaac 9 miles away, as seen in the TV series Doc Martin. I went coasteering near there with a very professional company based in nearby Polzeath. This involves wearing one of their wet suits and larking about in the water along the coast. They have clips on YouTube.

If we go back to Cornwall I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We have just returned from an enjoyable break in Cornwall. Our accomodation at Culloden was excellent very clean, comfortable and homely. The owners are a lovely, freindly and helpful couple who made our stay even more enjoyable. We were sceptical about vegetarian breakfast , but have now been converted, beautifully presented with plenty of choice. We hope to go back sometime soon

Room Tip: we stayed in the old dairy, which a is ground floor annexe which opens up into the garden,so good for...

We have just had a wonderful two weeks in the Oak self catering apartment. We were very pleased with the accomodation, especially as my wife is disabled and the owners agreed to have oxygen installed for our visit

The owners who live on site in their B&B accomodation were very helpful and friendly, without being over intrusive

A very well presented farmhouse, very clean and welcoming with the comforts of home. The owners showed us to our room and gave us the impression that nothing is too much trouble. Tastefully decorated and furnished Although we are not vegetarians we opted for the vegan full English, this does not compare to a full English as we know it but was thoroughly enjoyable, we also had a fresh fruit salad while our breakfast was being cooked, this was worth the cost of the breakfast on its own. Would definitely stop there again and if you are in the area would highly recommend this accommodation it is excellent value for money
