This was our first trip to Cornwall and couldn't have been more satisfied with our choice of the Treglos. We were upgraded to a suite which overlooked the beautiful garden and Constantine Bay. We were somewhat of a novelty to the superb staff(they said very few Americans venture down). Can't say enough about the service !Very friendly helpful staff and wonderful food.We set out every day going to different towns that we wanted to see and it was always pleasant to return and have a relaxing drink before dinner. There is plenty to do right there without the need t o drive. There were amazing cliff walks every where we went and the Treglos has its very own! There is more for us to see so we will come again to the Treglos.

Room Tip: ask for room overlooking garden and bay...I considered the indoor pool the fitness center:)

A comfortable hotel, with attentive and friendly service. However,at the moment the Dining Room is catering for bargain groups of mature customers to the detriment of Fine Dining. In order to attract a more discerning clientele the management needs to employ a more creative Chef.

Thank you for your review.
We do occasionally have small groups staying at the hotel but I can assure you they do not receive any more favourable terms than any returning guest. Our aim in the restaurant is to provide delicious local food that will encourage guests to return again and again.

I can't rate the staff in this establishment more highly. We were staying in the area in our tent which got wrecked and we ended up at the hotel soaking wet and tired. The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming, so nice to find such a wonderful place.

I love this hotel, have just taken friends for the first time and they loved it too. We were all very impressed by the excellent restaurant service and the quality of the food. Both couples had a lovely comfy room which was serviced each day before we returned from breakfast. All the staff are always polite and could not be more helpful, lots of nice touches, like nibbles with pre-dinner drinks, log fires on chilly evenings and local food.

We booked last minute for a Mini Spa break in April.

We arrived early on the Friday evening and were warmly greeted and shown to our room by the a member of staff who came out to our car with us and took our luggage to our room on a luggage trolley.

The room was lovely and clean and well presented.

We went for our massage which was included in the package. Mine was fantastic, just what I needed, my partner however was disappointed with his as the therapist spent most of the time on his legs and only a very short time on his back and did not get to his arms or hands, he said she also chatted alot throughout.

The pool and hot tub are nice but small and the infrared theray unit was different!!

We went for a walk to the beach after our spa visit. The beach is stunning, really lovelly and only a short stroll from the hotel.

We popped into the bar on our way back to our room to ask for a bucket of ice as we'd bought some bubbly with us, the bar staff were happy to help. We felt a bit under dressed in our jeans and rain jackets as the evening dinner guests had started to assemble in the bar, the dress code is shirt and tie/or jacket, so we made a hasty retreat to put on our glad rags and head to the restaurant for dinner.

We were shown to the bar so we could persuse the menu with our pre dinner drinks and shown to our table once our amusee bouche was ready!

Dinner (included in the package) was fantastic, with a great choice of wine.

The service in the restaurant was 5 star and the staff were fantastic.

We were so exhausted after our meal we headed bakc to our room to enjoy the view and a glass or 2 of bubbly.

The bed was fabulous really comfy, only down side was we were awoken by some noisy guests banging on a door to get in for about half an hour. The hotel phones weren't working as a result of a power cut earlier in the week so we tried to phone via the main line to reception but no one answered. Bar getting up and trapsing downstairs we were stuck with the noise until they decided to make up and let each other in the room!!!

We woke for breakfast the next day and again the food was fabulous, great choice and fantasic standard of food and service.

We asked about the availability of their self catering cottage and apartments only to find they are only available wednesday to wednesday!! Which means instead on taking 5 holiday from work for a fri/sat/sun changeover we would have to take 6 days!! My holiday is far too precious to me so this put me off hugely. If weekend changeovers had been available we would have booked it there and then. This was an off season enquiry and last minute as we stayed on 13th April and wanted to book from 21st April so I was surprised there was no flexibility as they had availability.

Our spa break was fab so I would definately recommend taking advantage of the mini spa package.

Thank you very much for your review. I'm delighted you enjoyed your spa break with us and I'm pleased to let you know the front door bell is now working again after the power cut.
We have also noted your comments on one of the massages and will rectify this issue.

We've just returned after spending a week at Treglos. The hotel is very comfortable and relaxing, with many welcome extras such as roaring log fires on cool days, a classical musician on some evenings and a 'help yourself' tea table with delicious home made scones and cakes. The food overall was excellent with very good fish and locally-sourced meat, as well as a vegetarian option. The rooms have extremely comfortable beds and many have a lovely sea view over Constantine Bay. The wide, sandy beach is a few minutes' walk away and there is direct access to the south-west coastal path. The friendly staff went out of their way to make us feel well looked after and we will definitely be booking another week next year.

Room Tip: Request a sea view room if you want to be able to lie in bed and watch the waves breaking over the b...

We visited the Treglos Hotel and found it to be a little jem for our weekend away. The food was amazing and our room had everything you could want including a sea view. The hotel itself is really smart and has a fresh, fashionable boutique feel about it. All the staff were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Had a fab weekend, will definitely be coming back for future holidays.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view the view is amamzing!
