The hotel is located at the top of the road which leads down to the wonderfully sandy Constantine Beach (5 - 10 minute walk down the hill). There is plenty of parking and even some garages available for a modest extra charge per night.
The rooms vary in size and price and are well maintained. There are a few suites and rooms with balconies, which carry a supplemental charge. Many have sea views.
The staff are very accommodating and several have worked for the hotel for many years. Guests are really well looked after, which explains why so many return year after year...

A very welcoming hotel, with some great facilities for a rainy day. Nice pool (not the biggest), and hot tub – unfortunately the steam room wasn’t working during my stay, free snooker table and pool room also an added bonus.

Staff were helpful and friendly in reception and behind the bar. Very attentive in the restaurant (but perhaps a little too “in your face at times”).

Had one 3 course evening meal which was very filling, I did have a slight mis-hap with a foreign object found in my main course (thankfully I was diligent enough to spot it before eating it) but the staff were very apologetic and offered a free dessert or drink.

Breakfast was very nice, plentiful and will set you up for the day.

Decided to eat out on my second night being slightly deterred by the previous evenings experience and there are a couple of local pubs and small restaurants about a mile’s walk away from the beach as an alternative. Just be prepared to walk back in pitch darkness if you stay out late – the main road from the village to the hotel isn’t lit.

All in all, a good stay – in a nice room with a huge bed. Bathroom facilities a little dated but didn’t detract from a pleasant stay.

Thank you very much for your review and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us.
I'm pleased you enjoyed the facilities at the hotel including the swimming pool and whirlpool.
We apologise for the infra red cabin being out of order for a few days at the end of April as unfortunately the manufacturers sent us the wrong spare part, but all is working once more.
I also apologise for the small piece of butchers string in your main course which should have been fully removed and I hope this didn't detract too much from your enjoyment of the meal.
We look forward to welcoming you again soon.

We have stayed at Treglos for many years, starting when my grandchildren were tiny. Same two weeks each year, and the children met up with friends who always came at the same time. There were about five families. The oldest grandchild is now 20! I have also visited on my own for some pampering, and will come again this year. The hotel is fantastic, the restaurant wonderful, and the staff very attentive. The hotel is traditional, with a dress code and a turn-down service, a delicious afternoon tea, shoe cleaning and many other lovely little old-fashioned touches - but in up to date, comfortable surroundings. The gardens are beautiful, and there is only a short stroll to the fantastic beach. Heartily recommended.

Room Tip: The sea view rooms are great for watching the Cornish sunset.

We had a meal here and it was superb and very fair prices too. Thoroughly recommended for a special occasion, even for just a good slap up meal. Very good ingredients and cooked to perfection. Service also excellent and lovely setting. We will definitely come again.

Room Tip: We didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms.

A gem of a hotel. We found all staff to be extremely helpful and professional throughout our stay, creating a relaxed atmosphere across the hotel with nothing was too much trouble for them.
We ate several dinners at the hotel (as well as lunch, breakfast and afternoon tea) and the food was delicious every time.
We will definitely be going back to the treglos soon!
