Very enjoyable short stay in the spring for two adults. Property interior is immaculate, if a little utilitarian-looking in the living room. Supply of books to read including sumptuous books about lighthouses! The welcome tray of food goodies (and in the fridge as well as on the table) was very welcome, yes you have paid indirectly for them but they were well-chosen, especially the fresh strawberries. The seaward views are from the bedrooms, not the kitchen or living room side which is where the cars of the four flats are parked. There is ample room to do this. Various cliff walkers come into the yard to have a look but have to go out the same way they came in! Note that you cannot enter the lighthouse itself. Two top tips, take it easy negotiating the single car width lanes to get to the headlands, especially in the vicinity of the holiday centres. Second, you can stock up on food and supplies at the last minute en route to the cottage at the Tesco on the outskirts of Padstow, no need to arrive then have to set off for supplies. You have to leave by 10am and as leaving we met the very pleasant couple who manage and maintain the four cottages, spent an hour nattering about this n'that.
