“Relaxation weekend”

We were looking for a chill out weekend pre -Christmas madness and found it at Crantock Corner. We were two families of two adults and two young children so eight of us all together and there was plenty of space for us all. The cottage is so well presented and has everything that you can possibly need to make your stay comfortable. Our weather was shocking but it didn't matter as we just wanted to relax and relax we did!!

Many thanks Paul for letting us stay in your lovely cottage and for the milk and chocolate in the fridge-a lovely welcome. Already planning our return!!!

“Lovely holiday home”
Reviewed 18 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

I stayed at Crantock Corner with my 2 daughters and four of my grandchildren aged three, two, one and 5 months. We also took 2 medium sized dogs. We had a wonderful time, partly due to the amazingly mild weather for the time of year but also due to the comfortable accommodation at Crantock Corner. There was plenty of room for us all and space for the children to play. The spacious enclosed garden with lovely views was an added bonus for both children and dogs. The house is within walking distance of the super dog friendly Crantock Beach, although we took a car to the car park with all the gear as there is a hill walk home!
The owner was very helpful and answered any queries both fully and very promptly, keeping in touch and checking all was ok during our stay. The travel cot, high chair and stair gate proved very useful.

“Really lovely, spacious house”
Reviewed 4 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

This place is great. Loads of space downstairs - two different sitting rooms and four sofas! Lovely kitchen with views out over the garden and countryside beyond. Two double bedrooms, two singles and one twin room. Two bathrooms, one downstairs with a bath and one upstairs with a shower. The garden at the back is lovely and has plenty of space for running around.

Paul actually let us stay over a weekend for a wedding and the price is really good when you break it down per per person.

One important thing to remember is bringing your own towels. Other than that, everything else you need is there!

I'd definitely stay again.

“Great house .... Great location”
Reviewed 3 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

I spent a week here with 3 generations of family ... 8 people in total. Loads of room, great facilities and room for people to relax in different areas of the house. Main sitting room was big enough for all 8 of us on 'film night'. A separate 'snug' with TV was useful when certain family members wanted to watch Coronation Street while the kids watched Fast and Furious !!! Good size rooms throughout and all domestic requirements catered for. Good size garden for a bit of footie practice and the house Is a Short walk to Crantock beach which is beautiful and great for a morning jog. Newquay and Fistral beach are a 10 min drive away and the Pentire Peninsular that separates Crantock from Newquay makes a fantastic walk with stunning sea views. Crantock itself is a quaint village, it's local shop sells great fresh pasties and there are cream teas available in the village as well. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks go to Paul for providing a lovely house.
