We had a two night stay here. Everything was excellent-large room with comfortable bed, spacious ensuite, delicious breakfast. Very secluded and peaceful surrounds and yet only a few miles from Hayle or Penzance. Huw and Sally were very helpful and full of information to enable us to get the most from our visit. We will recommend Rowan Barn to all our friends and family and would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous B&B with lovely hosts who were more than happy to help you with any requests or information you needed. Bedrooms were extremely comfortable with welcome luxury products. Breakfast is a true delight. Prepared before your eyes in a beautiful dining room overlooking the rolling hills below. Could not have chosen a more perfect B&B. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

There are many good bed and breakfasts around England. This fits in the excellent category.
The Dairy self catering is not just well placed with a great balcony to sit out in the sun when we get it, but also has a great 'grandmothers' feather bed that you cannot not have a good nights sleep in. All the rooms are well equipped, our friends from SA just couldn't get over the quaintness of the place and the high levels of service and hospitality offered by the owners (even on her birthday!)
Lovely walks, close to most parts of scenic Cornwall, but lovingly tucked away from the rest of the world......just perfect, as were the breakfasts, especially the home made pork sausages....

Will certainly be back and want to stay next time in Cornwall.

My wife and I stayed here back in October 2012. We stayed in "The Dairy", a lovely one bedroom self catering annex to the main farmhouse. Although self catering, it also included breakfast in the barn. The breakfast is truly excellent. I had the best omelette that I have ever eaten.
The Dairy is the best one bedroomed cottage we have stayed in, with a very good lounge/dining & kitchen area. This room has a high ceiling and it feels spacious yet cosy. Internet reception in the Dairy is weak, so you may need to go to the barn to pick up a stronger signal.
The owners Huw & Sally are very hospitable and welcoming.
Highly recommended and we would definitely stay again.
