This is a lovely cafe, and I can,t believe the people who give it a poor rating. This is a national trust cafe in an area of oustanding natural beauty. Of course it is very busy during school holidays. They could serve crap and charge you a fortune, but they don't. The atmosphere is calm, the food is great. If you want fast food, go to McDonalds, which luckily doesn't exist in Gwithian.

We went to Godrevy to see the coast line and seal life - we had heard great things about the cafe also. Access/ parking not a problem at all, however it was fairly blustery and cold outside, despite it being July.. So everybody wanted to sit inside. There wasn't much space around as the cafe is quite small. There's no baby changing facilities and the toilets are quite small (under the stairs for space saving)
There was a 20 minute wait for food, despite only ordering sandwiches / salad.
We visited on a Wednesday out of school holidays so god knows how they must cope in the height of summer!
All considering however, the food was brilliant when it did arrive!!

Always relaxed, friendly efficient service. Amazing location by an incredibly beautiful beach. lovely views from upstairs. Great range, lovely chocolate cake. Was very tempted by their Thursday evening opening but didn't quite manage to fit it in - next time!

We arrived a the Godrevy Cafe for a late lunch after a couple of hours walking in the hot sun on 22nd June. There was a great range of interesting food and drink on offer. We were served very quickly and enjoyed the superb homemade lemonade while we waited a few minutes for our meals. My wife had grilled sardines on ciabatta with an unusually good salad and I had lamb koftas with pitta, cous cous and the same salad. Both were truly excellent and very enjoyable. All in all we can highly recommend this lovely cafe.
