“Great dog friendly base to explore cornwall”

We stayed three nights. My husband, our two small dogs and myself. Amanda was very accommodating. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything that you might need in terms of appliances etc. Very well located, views over the estuary are fab. Lots of eateries along the parade and Asda close by on the other side of the estuary. Great fish & chip shop a few steps away. Amanda has produced a very helpful local guide that's in the apartment. We would also recommend a small pub called 'The Bucket of Blood' which is a short car ride away in the direction of the Riviere sands holiday park. Great food & service - dog friendly as well.

“Excellent apartment, good location”
Reviewed 24 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Booked after reading previous positive reviews. Apartment 60a is spacious, spotless & decorated to a high standard throughout. The kitchen & living area is open plan with a fantastic view of the estuary & beyond. A door leads to the bedroom/bathroom area, which also includes a utility area with a washing machine/coat hooks & books/games. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of cupboard space & drawers. The bathroom is modern and spacious. We found the apartment perfect for a family & the location of Hayle excellent for exploring as the transport links by bus/train are good the beach is minutes away & one of best in Cornwall. Amanda also provides a really useful guide book for local area, giving info on shops, eating out & places to visit. We will definitely visit again.

“lovely holiday apartment”
Reviewed 15 July 2012 for a stay in July 2012

the apartment is very comfy and clean and the location is great hayle is a lovely little town with quite a few shops pubs etc
during our stay our car broke down so we were pretty limited for 2 days as the rac lost our car and were very unhelpful but that was another story so while we had no car we were still able to walk to the train station in 5 mins from the apartment and visited st ives one day and penzance the other so this aprtment really is in a good location
the view from the apartment was brill ever changing tide and boats come back and fourth
the beach is only a few mins walk and it really is a stunning beach
we hope to return in the future.

“A great place to stay”
Reviewed 24 May 2012 for a stay in May 2012

Amanda's apartments are a great place to stay. We stayed in 60A and it was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, well-equipped, spacious and very stylishly done out. The booking was hassle free (and yet we booked very last minute - thank you Amanda for taking the time to get back to me from your holiday in Portugal). The apartments are also in a great location - handy for some lovely coastal walks or road to St Ives, etc, and there's a lovely view across the estuary from the living room of 60A. And lastly, Amanda's own "guidebook" to the area was great and it helped us make the most of our time there. We'll be going back.
