Does not make a bad pasty, although not Cornish I did goto school with the man(70+now). Family run small butchers who operate in the old way of good product at a fair price. On the same street as Antonini's restraunt in foundry square Hayle.
Their Steak pasty is a delight, take one for a picnic or wolf down on north quay while watching the tide flow...that was our intention today but it poured down!!.
If ever they build the super market on south quay you may well see great local shops such as Hampsons under pressure, one thing we do not need in Hayle is another fast food joint or supermarket.

Only got a chance to try the bacon from Hamptons! Lovely fresh meat, would have liked to have tried the pies and pasties on offer.

Everytime I drive through Hayle I have to make a raid on Hampsons.
Medium beef pasties are gorgeous and if you're up for a challenge you could attempt a large!
Also sample the chicken and ham pies, delicious.

there are pasties and then there are flaming brilliant omg blooming delicious ones. The bag was a tad damp but that was only the juice coming from the steaming hot moist pasty within. Only the threat of a coronary stopped me buying some of the cakes on offer. The meat and other handmade produce tempted more money out of my purse. If you want the nest pasty in Cornwall look no further
