Extremely happy with our first stay in a Premier Inn. Excellent value for money, comfortable bed, and a friendly, professional welcome from Paul. First impressions count - thank you Paul you made our stay an extremely positive experience!

We visited for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed. Greeted warmly by receptionist on arrival and everything explained.

The room was spacious with a double bed and single. USB plugs next to the beds and hairdryer was good despite the small size. The bathroom was clean and also spacious, however water pressure a bit funny on the taps meant it sometimes came in spurts. Room service has to be specifically requested although you can ask for towels and other necessities at reception.

WiFi not great at all, upcharge service offered but didn’t try this.

Location brilliant for travelling across Cornwall. Petrol station, shops and McDonald’s within walking distance as well as brewers Fayre with children’s play area.

Brewers Fayre was very busy which meant slow service but prices good and food decent enough. Didn’t try breakfast

Can buy additional supplies like phone chargers etc from reception. Also things like hot chocolate sachets for charity, cash only for this.

Free and plentiful parking is a real bonus and all staff we met were brilliant!

Overall would stay again.

Convenient location. Ideal for a short stay. 9/10 for cleanliness. Rooms could be lit better (wardrobe area). Staff friendly and helpful. No problem parking. Brewers Fayre next door ok for a quick meal but better ones not too far away. Would stay again if in the area

Overall very enjoyable 4 night stay. Very comfortable bed and spacious, quiet room. Quirky sink taps in bathroom meant getting hot water late at night was time consuming. We get up late so organising room cleaning in the mornings was not possible meaning room was not cleaned during our stay. McDonalds close by and Brewers Fayre next door meant food was easily available. Helpful staff can direct to restaurants further afield. Excellent value for money overall.

Given the price we paid, the hotel itself was fine. The breakfast next door was chaos, not enough staff and didn't know what they were doing when it come to hotel guests and breakfast etc.

Upon arrival (having travelled over 6 hours to get there), we asked if the room was available (this was 1.30pm) and they said it was but because its earlier than 3pm we would have to pay for early check in. I have never known any hotel charge this when the room is actually ready.
