Wanted somewhere to stay for an early start at Flora Dance Helston, Easy Parking had No worries about safety of car. Nice welcome by Young lady at reception, offered choice of upstairs or down, we had room 6 downstairs No problem with road noise (window open) just a couple of minor points Yes its not that easy to find Sat nav will take you almost to Premier Inn we drove around a bit & then asked the nice people at premier for directions ! not the first they said, Also this was our first visit to this type of accommodation so surprised by the very basic nature of room BUT it did the job for us. We left at 05-30 and Reception was Manned, Again with a friendly farewell

Room Tip: Look for the shell petrol station across the road from Premier Inn & Poorly placed travel lodge...

Another travelodge situated behind a garage forecourt, hidden from view. If you sleep with the window open take your earplugs, its like trying to sleep on a motorway, has every car in Cornwall got a big bore exhaust? tbh if I had known I would have gone to the Premier across the way. The bed was nice though and the room was clean, the revamped travelodges are a 1000 times better then the old ones, I just wish these chain hotels would find somewhere a bit less noisy to built their new ones, they aren't cheap and cheerful, £65 + for a room only is not great value for money.

Very friendly courteous and helpful receptionist/proprietor, who also helped me with some booking confusions beforehand. Comfortable stay and good for dog-owners who like to feel the dog is welcome too.

The hotel is in a good location just off the A30, although you cannot hear the noise as we had a room next to the road and found it quiet enough. It is in a small estate with another hotel, a Brewer's Fayre, petrol station and McDonalds. Just around the corner are more shops including a big M&S, a Boots Pharmacy and another store. The hotel offers good access to Cornwall, especially St Ives which is where I was visiting.

The hotel was clean and what you would expect from a Travelodge. The room had recently been updated to their "new look" and they now have 30 minutes free wifi which could come in handy. The bathroom was clean and pleasant, although the water pressure wasn't as good as other Travelodges I have stayed in; though this may not be their fault.

Overall, a pleasant stay in a pleasant hotel.

This Travelodge is just what I expect from Travelodge, clean, good shower, a very comfortable bed and great value.

As others have said it is very convenient for visiting St Ives, Carbis Bay, Hayle and lots of places on the coast.

Stayed for a weekend break in March. The hotel was clean, comfortable and great value for money, all staff were very friendly. We took our dog with us as they accept pets at a small charge. Definately recommend this hotel.

After reading some reviews I was a little afraid of what I was going to find. However I took the time to google the exact position of the Travelodge so had no trouble finding it. The room was warm, the bed was comfy and the bathroom fresh and it was all beautifully clean. It was a real relief and I slept well. We were at the back of the hotel so there was no traffic noise and although you could hear as people opened and shut their doors , that was the only sound we heard from the other residents. All in all, it was an excellent choice and incredibly good value for money.
