“Lovely Clean Chalet.”
Reviewed 12 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

I stayed here recently and was very impressed with this chalet. It was spotlessly clean with all 3 bedrooms a good size. The beds were very comfortable and there was no smell of damp or mould which I have experienced in other chalets in the past. The view of St Ives from the lounge is breathtaking. Would definately recommend staying here and I hope to stay again here next year.

“Disappointed Stay”

We stayed in the above premises from Saturday 8th July till Saturday 15th July and can only say we were utterly disappointed with what we found upon our arrival and wonder do you as the booking agent regularly visit the premises?

One of the first things is how high the meter is to put money in and to check credit during the week and that we had to mention on our arrival that the meter did not have the promised £10.00 credit all be it this was rectified but we should not have had to question this. My partner hurt herself getting in and out the shower as she suffers with osteoarthritis and found the base so high from the ground we have never come across this before in a shower.

Going into the Living Room and Kitchen area we noticed how dirty the Patio windows were as either dog marks or a child's hand marks which then also seen that the long curtains and the ones at the small window have mold on them so shows the Chalet is damp as you got a smell of this when entering. The Kitchen is so badly laid out with the cooker being at the end and you can't get to the front of this as the Fridge freezer is in the way. Also feel as thought the Kitchen cooker hood the electrics are not up to standard considering there are exposed wires and junction box, there are also exposed wires to the towel heater that should really be chased into the wall as it would only take a child to tug on the wires and potentially be electrocuted and also not everything has been Pat tested and considering again this is a rental property.

on arrival we had been placed in the small double room instead of the Master bedroom and the bed is so uncomfortable and have seen this mentioned on another review and nothing has been done about it and feel that waterproof mattress protectors are unnecessary when 2 grown adults have booked the property, the Suite was also given a bad review as being uncomfortable and not really fit for purpose as the cushions barely exist and feel as though you are just sat on the wood and again nothing has been done about this for future guests.

on Wednesday evening i had a very loud banging on the back window to which my startled partner answered the door and was told the lady was the owner Nara and that the recycle bin needed to be put out in a very abrupt way, we has not used this and used the site facilities as we always have done and do not appreciate being told we had to take the bin out with the previous guests rubbish in and we were left and told to bring in the next day.

The advertisement stated that the premises has WIFI and we could not connect and had to use our own 4g Data whilst there and the advert still states this when you messaged me stating that there is a problem at the moment, some people may not be fortunate enough to use there own Network 4G what do they do then?.

On the plus side the extras that are left in the Chalet for cleaning purposes and powder for the washing machine is a nice touch but feel the pro's out way the con's and that the owner really needs to go in and have a proper look around and can not believe that the payments going forward are for over £700 some of this money really needs putting into the property as i am sure you do not want negative feed back going forward. As for this instance we would really like a part refund of about £200 as we feel the chalet is not even worth the £500+ that we were charged and also alot of the communication took a lot to be desired.

Loved the chalet, catering for everything you need for self catering break.

Great beach nearby, walking distance. Loads of nearby interesting places to visit.

Would stay here again.

“Brilliant family challet”
Reviewed 22 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

My husband and I joined up with one of our daughters, her partner and their two young children for a weeks holiday in this fantastic little spot in Riviere Towans. Easy to access and has everything you need for your stay. We had good weather for the first few days which gave us a chance to walk a few minutes to the golden sands for the children to play at the seas edge. In the mornings hubby and I went for a walk along the coast and stopped off at the well stocked Spar shop for breakfast on the way back. We found a way to walk into Hayle through the local bridal paths and there are great shops there too. We are hoping to book again for next year.

Roslyn is a clean, bright well appointed bungalow. It has everything you need for your stay, from comfy beds right down to that all important bottle opener!
We visited Falmouth, St Ives and the Eden project and took a trip to Godrevy to see the seals and to St Michael's Mount.
There is a beautiful sandy beach a few minutes walk away where the children enjoyed their first attempt at body boarding.
Who needs theme parks! They spent many happy hours building sand castles and splashing in the water and were very sad to leave.
There are lots of nice places to walk off those cream teas too!
If you need supplies there is a well stocked Spar within walking distance.

WE WILL BE BACK !!!
