“Good value all you can eat”
Reviewed 24 August 2014 via mobile

It was a last minute decision to head to the Eastern Empire... Originally planning to get a take away the 6 of us opted to stay for the all you can eat buffet

It did exactly what it says on the tin... A varied selection of pretty decent dishes, freshly cooked and replenished at regular intervals ... Some of the dishes were lacking in meat content but that was probably due to other diners picking out all the best bits!

The service was ok, if not a little chaotic when it was busy but all in all for a tenner a head (ex drinks) it's worth a visit if you've run out if places to go

“Poor take away service”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

We are here on holiday and ran up to order our takeaway. The order was placed with no problems and we were told to collect in 30mins. We went to collect at the time stated and were told that we would have to wait another 30 mins. It was very busy and clearly times were over running. When we did finally eat our food (after waiting for at least 45 mins) it is was at best luke warm and some of the shrimp dishes did not taste nice. A disappointing experience, not to be repeated.

“All you can eat buffet – it is what it is”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Visited this restaurant in Hayle last week. We were very hungry after a busy day and this suited our requirements.

Sure the staff were busy but once free; a member of staff kindly wiped the place mats and tidied away the plates and offered us a table.

We helped ourselves to the food we prefer and it was hot and tasty. Just the job for two hungry travellers.

“Food poisoning meals”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

Ordered two seperate meals with chicken and rice (fried and boiled) and starters. Myself and my girlfriend were sick all night and the following day with food poisoning and didn't recover for a few days after that!!! Had only had tinned food for three days beforehand and all this was checked to be in date. No two ways about it, it was the food from this place that caused it. Maybe we just got massively unlucky but I should doubt it. Avoid, or it may ruin a large part of your holiday as it did ours.

im sorry to hear you got ill but this review is so unfair to get food poisoning within a couple of hours from eatting a meal ? please read from - (medic8.com) Symptoms of chicken food poisoning The period of time from when the contaminated food is eaten to when the symptoms appear is called the ‘incubation period’.In most cases of food poisoning the symptoms appear between 24 and 48 hours. No worry's 9 out of 10 people get food poisoning would blame it on the chinese anyway... we use to it.hope you get well soon.

“Tasty, good value, easy!”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

We got takeaway twice here in the week we stayed. The food was really good and they were careful to take into account all my son's veggie and food allergy requirements. Easy to park outside. Very efficient service though obviously very popular.
