“Nice Place”

Lovely and very spacious accommodation with comfy beds and all the equipment you could need. Nice location for walks etc and very quiet. Helpful and nice owners. The only bad point was there was lots of cobwebs and down the side of the sofa was very dirty which was a sofa bed so glad we didn't have to use it. Also inside the wardrobes and the bedside lamps were very dusty. Dont let this put you off though as im a bit ocd when it comes to cleaning! Everything else though was as clean as you would expect. Would recommend and come again if we were ever in the area.

Our second trip to Coverack and The Granary at Heath Farm. Peter and Natalie are the most welcoming of hosts, and could not be more helpful. The cottage we stayed in was very clean, warm and cosy on a typical May week in the UK. It was very well equipped with everything you might need for a self catering holiday, and of course they welcome dogs.

Dax, our Jack Russell terrier was fascinated by the farm animals. The chickens and ducks make regular tours of the farmyard in search of scraps. He could not take his eyes off them. He did find the pigs a bit of a trial, but hey ho.

Coverack is a small Cornish fishing village, not much to do but enjoy the scenery and clean but tiny beach and the excellent hospitality of the Paris Hotel, another establishment that welcomes dogs. Sunday lunch is superb, a choice of 3 roasts and 7 vegetable options plus roasters and Yorkshire puddings. Plus you can order the excellent restaurant food to be served in the bar.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway, dog friendly accommodation and great food within 5 minutes, then choose Heath Farm Cottages at Coverack. You will not be disappointed.

Stayed at 'Beeches' cottage on Heath Farm with my partner, mother (86 years) & mother in law (91 years) during my first visit to Cornwall.
A friendly welcome, fresh eggs, home baked scones & Jam were amongst our initiation to this wonderful part of the world.
A superb base to visit Cornwall with the added extra of Peter's advise of where to go & how to get there.
We shall definately be back to explore more.

Excellent accommodation and ideal for dogs. We stayed in the stable cottage that had its own garden at the back of the cottage which over looks the farm yard and allows you spend time watching the ducks, hens etc amusing themselves.

The cottage is very central for seeing Lands end, St Ives, Falmouth, Penzance. The whole area is dog friendly and many of the cafes allow you to take dogs inside with you. There are some lovely walks around the lizard and alone the coastal path. The Ship at Magan was excellent for a meal.

Peter and Natalie were very friendy and helpful and provided a lovely cream tea for our arrival.

We would thoroughly reccommend this accommodation it was excellent value for money.

We stayed at Granary Cottage for a week in mid October and had a great time. The cottage was bigger than expected, warm and cosy - plenty of room for my husband and I, and our two relatively large and lively dogs.

The cottage has a fenced off outdoor area so we could let the dogs out to stretch their legs. There is also a new woodland area, a short walk from the cottage, where we could walk the dogs first thing in the morning, with minimum effort.

Great location for exploring the Lizard peninsula, and for day/half day trips to St. Ives, St. Agnes and Sennen for Land's End.

Peter and Natalie were very helpful, friendly and welcoming, without being intrusive.

We stayed in low season which suited us perfectly - very quiet. I believe we were the only ones staying that week (there are c.six cottages on Heath Farm). And being October, the dogs were allowed to run free on all of the beaches.

I would definitely stay here again if it weren't for the fact that there are so many other places in the country I have yet to explore .....

We couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome or a more ideal place to stay with our young family. Peter and Natalie were unfailingly warm and helpful. They were very generous with their local knowledge which took us to some lovely places we would never otherwise have found. The boys loved seeing the farm animals; and so did we.

The cottage (Willows) was perfect for us; it had everything we needed and never felt cramped despite having two young boys bombing about the place. Having stayed in plenty of UK self catering cottages, we really appreciated the extras - the cream tea on arrival, and more mundane items like the washing up liquid and hand towel. It was the best cottage we have stayed in (this after many years of holidaying around Britain) - we were made to feel so welcome, and you can't put a price on that.

Locally, Coverack is fantastic - very picturesque with a harbour, sandy beach and rock pools, great fish and chips and a lovely pub to eat in. The coves of the Helford river estuary were delightful. Although the Goonhilly visitor centre is closed, you can still get in with a Segway tours or just for a drink in the cafe. The mine tours are good, too. There wasn't a shortage of things to do, rain or shine. Hope you enjoy your holiday as much as we did ours.
