“View matched by service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2014

We have been visiting Polpeor Cafe for 10+yrs now and were disappointed to read a couple of the recent reviews it had received on TripAdvisor. Naturally as we had always enjoyed the cafe ourselves we wanted to find out if these had been accurate. I can say that to our delight they did not reflect todays experience as we received excellent service, lovely quality food and the view is as always incredible (although I'd be stretching it to give the cafe the credit for that!) We clearly need not have been concerned that one of our regular destination's when in Cornwall had declined. We will when next around definitely be back to Polpeor to enjoy the Lizard and it's cream teas! I would add that also contrary to other reviews todays service was the quickest we'd ever received!

“Another year, another lovely meal on the cliff.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 July 2014

Dinner at Polpeor is becoming one of the highlights of our yearly visit to the lizard with my husbands diving club. The food is always lovely but watching the sun set from our table on the nicely sheltered outside eating area is a fantastic experience. If you are staying in Lizard village I can highly recommend a walk down to the Cafe just before 9am. You will see the seagulls sitting patiently on the roof and all around the Polpeor. They are waiting for the owner to arrive and give them a big bucket of scraps. It is a wonderful sight a photo opportunity.

“Excellent little cafe...”

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service we found in, what is basically a wooden shack at the Southernmost point of the UK. Great food (seafood pie, crab sandwich, chicken with bacon and a cream tea), friendly and hard-working staff and a great location.
Well worth a visit...in fact, plan your trip to The Lizard with lunch at the Polpeor Cafe...!

“England's most southern cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2014 via mobile

A really great cafe with a stunning sea view. The cafe is situated at the very end of lizard point. The crab sandwich was very fresh and I really enjoyed the milkshakes and ice cream sundae. All the staff are really friendly. The only small downside is they don't serve alcohol.
