“Stunning property with great sea views”
Reviewed 18 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Well equipped property with stunning sea views and direct access to beach. We have stayed in many properties in the village and for location and facilities this was by far the best.

Rock House is a lovely home away from home with all the comforts you could wish for and the added bonus of the spectacular location. Set in a quaint friendly, seaside village right on the waters edge. Falling asleep to the sound of the sea and waking to the amazing view across the bay. Loved the wood burning stove too, as a visitor from Australia it made the house even more homely and snug in the Cornish weather! A great base to visit all the great sights of Cornwall. There are several family friendly pubs within short walking distance too. Enjoyed the local village shops and galleries. We will definitely be returning.

“Breathtaking views”
Reviewed 30 December 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We only stayed four nights, but definitely fell in love with the house. The views form the sitting room, kitchen and our bedroom were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed, was comfortable, pleasant and roomy. We liked it so much we have rebooked for a week in May. We live in Colorado and visit the Southwest to walk the coast paths in Cornwall and Devon once or twice a year. We have been renting self-catering since 1991 and this is one of best places we have stayed. Working arrangements with the owner has been a delight. The village is quaint, but has several shops and good pubs. All within walking distance and the coast path is a few feet away. Be prepared though to park your car in the car park and climb the hill to the house. There is room to drop things off but the streets are narrow. It is well worth the extra exercise. And if one is there for walks on the coast path, well this is nothing.

“A fabulous find in beautiful Kingsand”

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding in nearby Polhawn Fort. The apartment is really a home from home with spectacular views from the kitchen, living room and double bedroom. Everything you need is here and the accommodation is very comfortable. It was lovely to sleep at night listening to the waves breaking on the shore.
Kingsand itself is small and quaint and has some excellent pubs serving good food. The halfway House was a particular favourite. The only slight downside is parking which as with all Cornish seaside villages can be a bit of a pain.
I would recommend Rock House without hesitation.

Reviewed 14 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

rock house is impressive accomodation, spacious and very well appointed it lacks nothing.fantastiic views with secret door to beach having great appeal to children and (big children).a small negative is the parking issue but soon overlooked and small price to pay for such a fabulous stay. only wish we had had the opportunity to have stayed longer, have no hesitation in recommending.
