Good for: Kids, Child-friendly, Cheap Eats
Dining options: Breakfast, Brunch, Highchairs Available, Seating, Wheelchair Accessible
Description: Small ex-market town, mostly dormitory for Plymouth. Not many routine eating placed. Morrisons is well established on the side of this compact town and a few hundred metres from the A38. The traditional well equipped and well stocked cafe is very popular with the mass of local residents who shop here and is often used by travellers and visitors who stop off for groceries or petrol. Worthy of a Tripadvisor listing for value and convenient eating.

“Cafe fight for a clean table”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014 via mobile

Morrisons supermarket benefits by having a monopoly when it comes to large scale supermarkets in Liskeard. The shop is well laid out, attractive and clean until you enter the cafe area during busy periods. You then have the opportunity to relax and recover from the extortionate bill you have just paid at the checkout in a cafe area which reminds me of the local recycling centre. Tables covered in uneaten food, dirty plates, spilt drinks and other forms of debris. This is far too often the unacceptable state of the majority of tables, leaving Morrisons' (valued?) customers to enjoy the refreshments in an environment that I would not expect my dog to eat in! Come on Morrison's, you make £shed loads, why not employ some more hard working staff and invest in greater customer satisfaction.

“The great breakfast joke”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 March 2014

35 mins wait this morning for breakfast. Only one person in front of us - they were more interested in chatting than cooking. When it finally did arrive, broken fried egg, coal black toast. Chap waiting for a bacon sandwich asked them if they had to kill the pig and lady next to me waiting for toast - hers arrived only toasted on one side. They never ever learn in this supermarket. People constantly complain about the wait. I have seen food placed under a hot lamp and left there for a long time, before anyone lowers themselves to bring it to the tables. If they cannot cope with cooking why don't they just to sandwiches, cakes and drinks. Its not that cheap - breakfast for two cost £10.85.

“Good shopping, bad food”

You find nearly everything, but keep from eating there. Rather go a few hundred yards to premier inn.
