Had a fantastic time . The price was excellent . The cottage perfect and was made extremely welcome by Gareth and Mel. With having our own garden made it perfect for our dog. Inside the cottage it was spotless and had everything we needed. The location for us was perfect as there where loads of walks close by and was a great base for exploring Cornwall. Will
Definitely be back.

Wow, excellent, fantastic, From the moment of making the booking to the sad day we left the Granary cottage you would not find anybody more welcoming and as helpful as Gareth and Mel. From the advise on where to eat and dog friendly beaches and the amazing home baked scones are worth the visit alone. Location is perfect as there are attractions close by and you are in a good central location to travel north, south and west. Fizzy loved that she had her own field to play in and we had our BBQ area. Cottage had everything we needed and felt very homely. Looking forward to coming back to Hendrifton farm as we feel it is the perfect base for visiting Cornwall.

I've never written one of these reviews before, but feel that this place deserves my effort. I've visited the area several times before, and wanted to introduce my wife and daughter to this beautiful area. We looked online for somewhere reasonably priced and came across Hendrifton Farm. The reviews suggest that we needed to look no further, and they were right. Melanie and Gareth made us feel very welcome, greeted us with delicious scones, jam and clotted cream, and nothing was too much trouble for them.

We stayed in Granary Cottage at the end of May, a beautiful, immaculately clean cottage with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. It's close to Bodmin Moor and the beautiful Golitha Falls. It's also not far from Liskeard town centre, yet far enough away to feel like you're away from it all.

We loved it so much that we booked before we left to go again. We're leaving for Cornwall again tomorrow and can't wait to get back to Hendrifton Farm for another lovely week and more delicious scones!

Book to stay here and you won't regret it.

After taking the dog on holiday to Cornwall this year there is no where else I would rather go. The cottage was perfectly kitted out from a super smart kitchen to a spotless bathroom. The dog had her own little garden and a nice size field for a nice play with the ball. If we didn't want to eat out at 1 of the many places ( " Sam's on the beach" was our favourite) there was a nice BBQ in our garden. Gareth and Mel know everywhere to go and are just so helpful, nothing is to much for these people and from the moment we arrived they couldn't have made us feel anymore welcome. They arranged maps to help us get around as my directional skills really aren't very good. Mel's freshly baked scones are absolutely wonderful and I cant wait to go back for another visit next yr. The only down side to this place is that we had to leave.

This is now our third holiday to Hendriton Farm and we stayed in The Granary Cottage which is a perfect size for us and our dog Aflie. We stayed with friends who stayed in Field View Cottage so we had the best of both worlds. If you wish to see all of Cornwall Hendriton Farm is perfectly situated, with only a 40 minute drive to get to both the south and north coast. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you need from kitchen equipment, TV and dvd player, barbie area and plenty of information on what to do in Cornwall including walks and places of interest. There is even a seperate field for the dogs to run around in and as the weather was so nice we spent a bit of time sunbathing and relaxing in it.
Nothing is to much trouble for owners Gareth and Mel, they are warm, friendly and welcoming.
We have already booked our week for next year just in case we can't get booked in as it's now becoming a very popular destination and when you stay at Hendriton Farm you can see why.

Just back from a wonderful stay at Granary cottage. Really could not fault this retreat of a cottage.
It was spotlessly clean throughout with many thoughtful touches. The bed was so comfortable and we slept so well. The towels were plush and a real treat. The lounge was lovely and cozy and always a treat to come back to. The field for our dogs was ideal with plenty of space for a good run. Our holiday had the perfect start with Melanie's home made scones on arrival and even a bag of treats for Max and Millie.

The location was perfect for us as it was far enough away from any hustle and bustle but with some beautiful and peaceful places to visit like Golitha Falls and Siblyback Lake. Gareth informed us of plenty of places to visit one of which was "Sam's on the beach" at Polkerris where we had a mouth watering meal overlooking the sun setting on the beach.

Highly reccomend this place and will definetly return.

When our friends returned from their stay at Hendrifton last year they didn’t stop talking about the cottage holiday and so when they asked us to join them this year and have the cottage next door we didn’t hesitate. We are so glad we didn’t!

What a fabulous time we had, Granary is perfect, for a holiday and has a very well equipped kitchen, amble soft fluffy towels and very comfortable beds, unusually so in the excellent quality bunks for our two children, so everyone got great nights sleep. The kitchen table was big enough to accommodate 8 people so great for us when both families all wanted to eat together – which was a daily event!! The outside is lovely, loads of space for the children to run around safely without us parents having to worry what they are up to.

Melanie and Gareth are perfect hosts, within minutes of meeting them you feel that you have known them for ages, they are on hand to make sure that you make the most of the cottage and its location if you need it. On arrival there is a wonderful cream tea waiting for you (Mel your scones are fab!), which is a lovely touch. Melanie and Gareth even took the shopping into Granary and put the cold stuff in the fridge when the delivery turned up early – how’s that for service!

Hendrifton is set in an ideal location although fairly rural surroundings it is very easy reach of the bigger towns, supermarkets and the coast – north and south. We certainly had a fabulous week, even if the weather was cold. We have booked up again and cannot wait to return next year.
