“Lovely couple - refund no quibble”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2012

What a lovely couple to deal with. Having paid a deposit I later had to cancel the holiday. Lorna and Mark were so nice about it and arranged a refund in a flash without any quibble whatever.

My wife and I have just returned from a good five day stay at Lorna and Marks lovely B&B located a five minute walk from the Historic Lostwithiel town centre for shops and restaurants. It is also a good location for visiting the many National Trust properties,The Eden Project and for both coutryside and coastal walking. There are a number of good restaurants to chose from and we had some great meals out, especially at Asquiths where we celebrated our wedding anniversary.
Lorna and Mark are very good and friendly hosts and provide three large comfortable bedrooms and good sized ensuites, we stayed in room 2 with views over the the town and surrounding coutryside.Parking on site is a great advantage. The choice for breakfast was very good and the quality of local products used was excelent. Highly recommended.

A beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Lorna is probably the best and most helpful host we have met. The breakfast catered for all tastes and was excellent and more than enough to see you through to the evening. The room and facilities (including tea and coffee, yummy biscuits, hairdryer etc) was spotless and the bed was soooo comfortable. A couple of extras were that the rooms have TV/Video combi's and they have a selection of films freely available. They also keep a selection of books so if you wish to read there is plenty to choose from. Excellent B&B, excellent value, hope to visit again!

We had a great time in Cornwall, which was enhanced by our stay at Tremont House. From being met on arrival with tea and home-made cake to the final farewell wave as we left it was so friendly. In fact more like staying with family than at a B&B. Thanks Mark and Lorna for making our stay so enjoyable.

Booked last minute and stayed here for two nights while visiting the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan while on holiday - places I'd not been to before. Lorna was very flexible and helpful about everything - great advice, fantastic breakfast, great night's sleep, really felt that this was a home away from home. Really can't fault this place at all, and great value. There are places where I would stay again, and then there are places I would definitely try to return to if visiting the area again - and this is the latter.

We spent a week at the Tremont Hotel in Lostwithiel used it as a base to explore much of Cornwall. The location is perfect, only a few miles to places like Fowey and Polperro and only about 45 minutes at most to go anywhere else. We had excellent service from owners Lorna and Mark who were very friendly and helpful.Breakfasts were excellent, our room,a twin, was lovely and large with a large bathroom, all very tasteful and attractive and very clean. There is a spacious and comfortable guest lounge with information about the attractions in Cornwall.Onsite parking and free wifi in the rooms is a bonus.

a lovely B&B full of character. Lovely victorian-styled rooms, great breakfast and above all excellent customer care by the owners who truly love their job. Lostwithiel is pretty and worth a visit and a meal at the Globe inn.
