Visited Trinity cottage twice during half term. Lovely place with all the home comforts. Great indoor pool & tennis court, good location for visiting national trust properties & RHS gardens. Will return soon...

A great house to stay in. Comfy beds and sofas, all the comforts from home. A great base to explore Cornwall. We will definitely visit again and hope to stay in other Duchy properties as the standards are high.
The leisure facilities were great too and perfect for children whether young or teenage, weather wasn't too great for tennis though!

Room Tip: We had the Gatehouse which is great if you want to be more independent, although you need to walk about a mile to reach the pool. Great for us though!

We booked this last minute and it really was top notch accommodation. As soon as we walked in we knew we were going to have a great holiday. (We had a new baby were in need of a relaxing winter break!) The cottage was beautifully decorated and decked out with all home comforts, a beautiful welcome pack of local food& drink, reading books, games, DVDs, cosy blankets etc. We had the log fire on each evening and took our 3 month baby on short walks in the gorgeous surroundings. Particular mention to the wonderful duchy of Cornwall garden centre cafe which we went on more than one occasion for a lovely lunch and coffee/ cake. We had such a lovely week we really hope to go again this year

Restormel Manor & Cottages is one of the best vacations that I've ever had.

It is one of the rare, ROYAL EXPERIENCES that mere mortals can have, at a price that is quite friendly. The quaint, historical town of Lostwithiel is lost in time, with upscale and pub dining options. The inspiring Eden Project is close by, as is the shore, and all of the fun that goes with both. Where else can you have your afternoon tea brewed in a Duchy of Cornwall tea pot?

Room Tip: The Manor House and the Cottages are all good. Choose based upon how many people are traveling with you.

We had a great weekend with friends in the Manor House which is the biggest section of the main house. We have stayed before in Dairy House so had high expectations but Manor House was fabulous especially the dining room which was perfect for serious entertaining. The kitchen is huge with a big old farmhouse table, American style larder fridge, wine fridge-the lot. There were 2 en suite bedrooms both with roll top baths and separate showers and 2 twin rooms. With the swimming pool, new games room and tennis court we think you will struggle to find anywhere better. Top tip it's really good value in the winter- we will return.
