We have just returned from a lovely week with our 1 and 4 year old and Grandma. We stayed in Sycamore clean, tastefully appointed and fantastically well equipped. Kevin and Vicky have thought of everything, toy box for the kids, high chair, booster seats the list is endless even pushchairs you can hire.It is a lovely spot the kids loved feeding the animals, swimming in the pool, riding around tennis courts/pedal car area and playing on the wooden play area and the house as well as the indoor play area. Great location for exploring Devon and Cornwall.

Just return home to Coventry today after spending a lovely week in the court farm- farm house.

Their were 8 of us,, mothers daughters son in law grandmother, great grandmother a 2 year old and my brother with learning autism and what a great time we all had. The farm house is full of charm from the 6 bedrooms, large living area with open ingle nook fire , 50 inch sky TV and an amazing dinning area with a huge 12 setter oak table and another ingle nook working fire which impressed the whole family.

The kitchen had everything you need from a big electric range cooker down to the herb garden just outside the kitchen window,

Gas BBQ and enclosed gardens where perfect. The daily walk down to meet Kevin to help feed the animals with your left overs from the days food before was a great treat for my granddaughter who at the age of 2 loved collecting the eggs from the egg house every morning followed by a swim in the heated pool afterwards, Kevin trys to think of everything to entertain the kids no matter what the weather - he was hiding wellies the other day for a kids welly hunter a lovely touch i thought.

You can order meals cooked and delivered to your door from the cook on site but thier is so much to see we didn,t get the chance.

Wide mouth beach is a must we had excellent weather all week golden sands and deep blue seas who needs the med.

I can recommend the steak night on a Thursday at the pub opposite two for £20 yum.

We had our groceries delivered by asda as the nearest shop is Salisbury in bude about a 7 minute drive all in all had a fantastic time will be back next year

We went and stayed in the cottage called SouthPark in Marhamchurch 2 weeks ago for the week beginning to Fathers Day.The cottage is absolutely wonderful. We went with my son and daughter and their husbands and wives and my 18mth old grand daughter. We couldn't believe how great the toy box was for her,we needn't have bought any toys at all.she absolutely loved the slide and wendy house in the HUGE garden which was very secluded and very safe.We also took my sons dog and he loved the garden too.Much nicer than putting him in kennels. She loved visiting the farm one morning and feeding the animals, although she came back covered in pooh, which was amusing.Black out blinds in the rooms were very helpful too.plus little extras like windbreaks, beach mats and ballswhich we had brought but definitely wont need next year.also the childrens cutlery was catered for too.The hot tub was amazin and was used several times, especially on Fathers Day.Lovely also to have an en-suite room and also a bathroom/shower and an extra toilet, handy when 6adults are using the cottage. The weather was fantastic so we didn't need to use the pool as we used the hot tub and beach most ot the time.Kevin was very helpful if we had any queries, and nothing was too much trouble.

If you want a holiday home from home this is the place to come.We had an amazing holiday and are looking forward to returning next year already.

Room Tip: SouthPark is a lovely 6berth cottage for all the family, plus a Huge garden and hot-tub.What more wou...

We are having a lovely time here with our two year old twins staying at Wheelwright.
Two high chairs and two cots were provided as booked.
It's a lovely spot with warm indoor pool, tennis court/ safe pedal car area, wooden play area, animals with feeding time, are you getting the picture?
Child friendly garden, in built stair gates.
Log burner for colder months, big fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher.
Easy parking , pub across the road with good food.
Plenty of beaches nearby with surf , rock pools , sand.
Lovely spot.

We have just returned from the best family holiday ever. We stayed in The Parlour at Court Farm which provided us excellent accomadation, fantastic facilities and a good base to explore the local beaches. I would highly recommend going to Court Farm and cant wait to go again.

We just spent a week at Court farm with our 4year old and our 3 month old baby. It literally ticked every box for us. It was a bit like going to a fab family hotel but with the benefits of self catering (and much more affordable!). It had everything we needed for the kids and luxury touches for us too. We stayed in Sycamore, which was very spacious for the four of us. The hot tub was fun and we loved having barbecues in the lovely garden. The manager (Kevin) was always available and we got the sense that nothing was too much trouble.

The indoor pool and playroom ŵere a complete hit and totally compensated for the changeable weather that week. Our daughter had two fantastic swimming lessons with Rosie (details on the accommodation website), who was just brilliant. We can't believe how much she got our stubborn daughter doing in such a short time and with such a sense of fun.

We hired one of the off-road buggies from Court Farm which made trips to the beach much easier and it was fun having a go at body boarding (again with equipment borrowed from Kevin). It is too far for little legs to easily walk to the beach from the farm but there are so many different beaches just a short drive from the accommodation, which adds to the variety. We really enjoyed walking along the canal into Bude and buying really fresh fish from the fishmongers there to bring back for the BBQ. Our best meal out was at the Bay View Inn with fab views of Widemouth Bay.

I sloped off one morning to have an amazing "relax into radiance" treatment with Vicky Barnes who has a holistic therapy room on site. I literally felt like I was walking on air afterwards. This facility just added to the sense that court farm has worked out what all members of the family need on holiday.

We will definitely be back.
