“Another great holidy at Hilton”

Hilton Farm truly is an amazing place to spend some time. We have been holidaying here for the past fourteen years, often coming twice a year. It really is a wonderfully relaxing venue and a great base from which to explore the many delights of Cornwall.

The owners, Ian & Fiona Goodman go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and do their utmost to ensure the time spent at Hilton is of the highest quality. Nothing is too much trouble.

Over the years I think we have stayed in most of the cottages and have always founf that they have more than met our needs and expectations.

I am not normally one for writing endorsements and then only when one is richly deserved. Many thanks Ian & Fiona for helping to make our holidays times to remember.

We stayed at Hilton this last week and cannot recommend the experience highly enough Fiona and Ian were exceptionally good hosts and are obviously very successful as all fellow guests staying appeared to be really happy with their accommodation also. I would like to say a huge thank you to fiona and Ian for their very kind hospitality and lovely accommodation.

What started as a promising holiday with friendy service at time of booking was soon to change. On arrival we where early and unable to get in earlier as was being cleaned!!! We decided to go to the local '' friendly '' pub for a drink well that should of been a sign they where the rudest people i have meet for a local family pub who where not interested in holiday trade at all even though was completely empty and obviously dont like children!!! Once we where able to go in to Farmhouse all appeared fine was rustic and as would aspect but over the next couple of days then noticed exactly how dirty and completely un clean the farm house was. Bed linen and bathrooms where clean and what your 1st see was also clean but beyond that was disgusting can understand that a complete clean can not be done every time but there was dust so thick under sofas (which where on wheels) dust from where pictures had been put up, a few cobwebs fine but everywhere, dirt in fridge area food etc, free travel cots so dirty and old, cooking equipment needed washing before could use, advertised as having a private front garden well it is apart from the dog allowed to roam and do its business in the garden so that the small children we had who can not walk where unable to play!!!!
The actual website states the facilitys available but again are miss leading * Secure play area - long grass and same dog doing its business freely * Games room - dust so thick like a carpet and toys so dirty you would not let the dog even play with!! and the pile of poo from either sheep and or dog piled up * Pets corner - where!!!! * 25 acres to roam and fly a kite - fenced in and sheep roaming * Wifi - only if you are almost outside owners house!!! Owners where not available to talk to and did not come and introduce themselves once or where they hiding!!!! Beware looks are deceiving.

“Excellent place, we'll be going back!”

We stayed in the Farmhouse and had a great week. Three families with three children under all under two and the kids loved it. There’s a lot to do in the local area and the Hilton complex has everything you need. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi are clean and well maintained.

The owners couldn't be more welcoming or accommodating, lovely people.

Overall we had a great time and would recommend this to anyone.

Fiona and Ian are absolutely lovely. Great local knowledge when we asked about canal walks to Bude.
Hot tub and pool a real treat. Very relaxing break with stunning countryside views.
