Whilst staying in the fantastic Mawgan Porth we had a lazy breakfast here this morning and returned for dinner this evening. This dog friendly restaurant offers a relaxed dining experience over looking the beach. The menu, has plenty of choice including non seafood. I would recommend the Fish Brunch in particular. Service was very friendly, adding to the overall great experience.

Whilst visiting Mother Ivey's Bay this weekend just passed, we completely forgot it was fathers day - meaning a lot of the nearby pubs and restaurants were fully booked for brunch/ lunch. After the restaurant we intended to visit was fully booked, we tried at another pub nearby and were turned away quite rudely. We decided to just drive through neighbouring towns and see what we could find, and we stumbled across 'Catch' by chance. We popped in to check if it had any tables available (as there were six of us so we weren't optimistic) but the chap there said their biggest table was reserved but not for another couple of hours so we could take it. He also let our big bouncy golden retriever pup come inside too, which surprised us as the interior was very modern and absolutely gorgeous, so we assumed it wouldn't be dog friendly! Everybody working there was absolutely delightful, and they had the best menu we'd seen in a very long time, it was almost impossible to choose! The portion sizes were very generous and the food quality was just superb, we were all very happy with our orders (but were picking at each others out of food envy too). Beautifully decorated and wonderful paintings (that i think are by local artists?). Would definitely recommend to anyone, and has a number of veggie options too (two of our party were vegetarian, and one pescetarian).

The food was amazing! This is an expensive restaurant but definitely a nice treat when on holiday. The waiter was friendly and helpful and the decor is lovely. We visit again in August and will certainly be going back!! We love Mawgan Porth!! Hope one day to win the lottery and live there.

Went in search of a pub for lunch to discover all fully booked (Father’s Day) and stumbled across Catch. They managed to fit us in (as long as we promised to leave the table by 3). We had a dog, a pescatarian and a vegetarian, the menu was really varied and there was something for everyone. Great service, particularly the young guy who served us. In an area dominated by Rick Stein and Jamie Oliver this is s real find excellent food at the right price.
