Friendly relaxed hosts, good breakfast not stupidly early, clean, quiet en-suite room with decent mattress. Good location for beaches between Newquay and Padstow. Travellers Rest pub around the corner is good for food (reserve a table though).

If you are planning a stay in North Cornwall and you want a home from home experience with wonderful hosts, comfy beds, fabulous breakfasts and much much more. Then Kernow Trek Lodge is the place for you. We stayed with our two teenage sons and quite simply, we couldn't of been happier.

Rosie and Andrew were excellent hosts and were so welcoming right from the beginning. We felt as though we were staying with family !! They were so kind providing an alternative breakfast when we had to leave early although we wish we could have stayed for their excellent cooked breakfasts!!!The rooms were incredibly clean and beautifully presented and the location was perfect for many local beaches. There was also a lovely garden area perfect for relaxing in after a hard day The handy information booklet provided all the useful information you may need and we ate at three of the recommended restaurants which were all fantastic.
Couldn't fault it!!

Room Tip: Phone signals are better on the upper levels

We stayed here last night and I have to say everything from the welcome, the building, the bed and of course the breakfast was excellent. Andrew and Rosie are lovely. Andrew showed us around the place including where the board games were and took us to our room. He made us a pot of tea when we arrived and we were left to our own devices. There is a little pub over the road which served really good food although was very busy for a Thursday night. The beds were very comfy, the rooms very clean and all amenities accessible. I would highly recommend this little place and would certainly come back

My cousin is a loyal visitor so when we agreed to meet in Cornwall, this is where we went. The family room is high, with a reasonable view of the ocean. The family is welcoming, and the running of the place is a family affair. The English breakfast can be tailored to your wants but was uniformly excellent, fresh, alongside the best cup of coffee in England (low bar, high praise). The rooms were well kept and even made daily! They even offered a tea and scones service, which wasn't needed as the weather cooperated. This B&B deserves your business because of value, friendliness on a quiet street, complete with a fine English pub only 200 meters away. There are pleasant, small gardens front and back but no pool. Beaches are not only 700 meters away, albeit on a very narrow road or a short, beautiful, longer hike along a ridge.

The local airport is 1-2km away but with few flights, it was unobtrusive. Only complaint is dodgy wi-fi, which is not necessarily a complaint. :-)
