“Another fantastic stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 May 2013

A return visit for 3 nights which did not dissapoint, fabulous as ever. Stayed in room 5 again with amazing sea views, exactly what you want to wake up to, followed by a 'Full English' to set you up for the day, Smoothies also available if your feeling 'sensible'.
Kate, Carol & Ozzy all so friendly and welcoming, thankyou.
Room was spotless and bathroom has a GREAT shower, much appreciated after a day walking or on the beach.
Easy access to Jamie Oliver's 'Fifteen' and breathtaking Bedruthan Steps beach, oh and don't forget the National Trust cafe...Cream Tea, mmm.
I would highly recommend and will definately return :)

Room Tip: Stayed in Room 5 with fantastic sea views.

Seavista is a absolute gem. The rooms absolutely stunning. The attention to detail is on par with a 5 star hotel, though out.The sitting room has the most amazing views. Nothing was to much trouble and breakfast was fantastic. Would defiantly stay there again.

Room Tip: Room 5 has fantastic views.

We've just returned from a fantastic 3 night break at Seavista... And will definitely be returning to show 'bump' this special place! Kate, Oz and Carol are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much and they really do go out of their way to make your stay as special as possible... On arrival we were offered tea and cake either in our room or the lounge, Kate also booked my hubby a surfing lesson with local school King Surf... small touches but it's things like this that really set Seavista apart from other B&B's.

Breakfast was awesome, great scrambled eggs and always top quality ingredients. We loved the laid back feel of the whole place, it was lovely that Barney was happy toddling round and playing among the guests. We look forward to seeing him as a pro-boarder (snow or surf!!) in a few years :)

We stayed in room 5, a great sized double room with fantastic views out to sea, it was always spotless and the rain fall style shower was fab. Kate has a great eye for decor, the whole hotel was beautifully finished. I've been inspired for our nursery!

We thoroughly recommend dinner at The Park Cafe nearby... Great atmosphere and brilliant home cooked food. We also ate at Jamie's Fifteen which was fab. Seavista is perfectly located for exploring St Ives, Lizard Point, Padstow and Port Isaac... All well worth a trip.

Kate and Oz (and Carol of course!), you should be really proud of what you've created at Seavista. It was by far the most enjoyable B&B stay we've had and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Lorna & Lee (& bump!) xxx

We stayed at the seavista for 4 nights over Easter. We were made to feel welcome at this family run B&B straight away. The room was lovely and clean and had fantastic decor, our room was boat/seaside themed with wallpaper lined draws and pretty blue wallpaper with birds on inside of the wardrobe which made a nice extra touch. The breakfasts were excellent, the food was fresh and tasty; all locally sourced and the fry up didn't even taste greasy! There were a selection of cereals and a healthier option of a smothie alternatively you could have a combination of any of the components of the full english.

Great location there are nearby pubs in Morgan Porth and its close to Newquay and Padstow - i visit cornwall regularly as my parents live down there and I will definitly be visiting the seavista again you couldn't ask for a better base for your holiday.

Room Tip: The website has all the details of the rooms so you know what you are getting we were in room 5 whic...

Seavista is a little gem as is Mawgan Porth. We had been down to St Ives for a few days and on the way back decided to have a short stop off around the Newquay / Padstow area and stayed at Seavista.

On arrival we were shown to our room which was very well decorated and very clean. Was a nice treat to have a balcony looking out towards the sea and beach. Fresh sea air on tap! The views are just incredible.

Bed although a double was comfy and we had a great nights sleep. Very nice to wake up and look out the doors towards the sea.

Breakfast was very good - excellent choice on offer including never ending coffees and teas etc. Great start to the day.

Seavista is very conveniently placed to visit Padstow, Newquay and places like Port Issac. The beach and local cafes / Pubs in Mawgan Porth are worth a visit also.

Thanks Kate and Carol for a very memorable and relaxing stay at Mawgan Porth.

Room Tip: Ask for the room with the balcony - it has great views with the opportunity to take in the sea breez...

Thank you so much for your wonderful review, we are so pleased you enjoyed the balcony in room 4, it really is lovely when the sun is shining to sit out there with a glass of wine looking out to sea! I pop up there myself sometimes when the room is empty! ;-) We really hope to see you both again soon!

Wow! This place is a find.

Coming in from the cold from a VW campervan stay, we were relieved to stay at the fantastic Seavista in Mawgan Porth. The hosts were so welcoming, the bedrooms were well equipped and the breakfasts were outstanding! Location-wise, it's bang on. Mawgan Porth is actually quite a trendy hangout - nice pubs, shops and a fab restaurant at 'The Park' (like a real-life version of Guardian food monthly!).

We will definitely be back - it's just a question of when! Thanks to all the team for a memorable stay :)

We spent a couple of nights at Seavista last month. The stay was a gift from friends who had purchased a voucher donated by Kate and Ozzy for a charity.

There is much that has been said in other reviews about the lovely views, the peace, the cleanliness and the high standard of décor throughout, but like others, what impressed us most was the open, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. From the help that Kate gave us on the night we arrived, to the sharing of great local knowledge on places to go and the best places to eat. Kate Ozzy and Carol care a great deal about the experience of their guests and it is very obvious they enjoy sharing their beautiful home with them.

I had to take a photo of the full English breakfast. It was perfect!
