My partner and I stayed for 3 nights in February and although the weather wasn't the best our hosts certainly were! We started our days off with the best breakfasts I think we've ever had and Clare provided plenty of suggestions of what to do locally, considering it was out of season. The room was spotless and very comfortable and the bathroom had a superb shower. Coming back in the afternoons to freshly made cake and biscuits was a real treat. We would love to come back during the summer to laze around the pool and enjoy the garden and views, but mostly to enjoy the breakfasts all over again. Fantastic!

We recently spent 3 nights in Trennicks B&B and what a lovely stay it proved to be. Tony and Clare go "the extra mile" to ensure that their guests have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.
We had a room which was spacious and very comfortable with a 'state-of-the-art' bathroom. The view from our bedroom was fantastic, overlooking the roofs of the cottages lining the valley and with the harbour and sea beyond. Breakfast was copious and of excellent quality, starting with a choice of locally produced cereals, porridge and freshly prepared fruit salad. This was followed by our choice from an extensive menu including full English breakfast. Wherever possible locally sourced produce is used including home-made bread and marmalade.
It is about a 5minute walk down to the harbour where there are - for a small village - a surprising number of good quality restaurants serving a variety of dishes including fresh fish.
We hope to return!
Jenny and Brian.

A relaxed place to stay. I was given a room which was easily accessible and it had a wonderful sea view. The breakfasts we had were the best of our weeks stay in Cornwall and Devon. Nothing was too much trouble. Go there!

This is a superb B&B with a very warm welcome at its heart. The outstanding breakfasts are made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and offer something different from the usual breakfast menu (love the home-made Scotch pancakes). The views from the dining area / guest lounge are delightful and the gardens are so splendid, that it's not hard to imagine how good it will be for guests who stay during the summer months and who are able to make use of the pool. (Too chilly during March!) A peaceful spot, ideal either as a base for visiting the local sights or for doing some coastal walking. Your hosts can make recommendations, which will suit your needs. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Stay in Seaview and you can see the harbour and the sea from your bed.

This is a very belated review of this wonderful B&B where we stayed in April 2012. Wanted to write this review because we had an incredible stay with Ian and Sally and would highly recommend a visit! Mevagissey is a gorgeous, quaint town with lots of little streets to explore as well as the harbour which provided a great setting for some sunrise photo shoots. The rooms have beautiful views and are well appointed with the most comfy beds and fluffiest doonas, not to mention tea, coffee and everything to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast! Wow! The most delicious spread of fruit, yoghurt and muesli and then an extensive menu of cooked breakfast choices. The scrambled eggs with smoked salmon were a favourite with our group. Ian and Sally were wonderful hosts and didn't hesitate to recommend sites to see and restaurants to visit. If you're planning a trip to Cornwall, look at Mevagissey and definitely stay at Trennick's...you'll love it.
