This was my second stay at this excellent accommodation near mevagissey. Wonderful fresh and local food cooked and served by Tim and Sally. Clean and arty accommodation with a modern twist. Can't wait to go back for a third
Time next year. We have asked for a longer stay next time.

Room Tip: Stayed in the Barn conversion which was for the people on the art course.

I had a great break here in March staying in the converted barn, my 3rd visit to Bodrugan Barton Farm. The first floor is designed as a studio for painting in my case, with a lounge area for relaxing and a kitchen area for food/snack preparation, the ground floor has a variety of single & double en suite rooms. The rooms are beautifully clean and the beds comfortable with fresh crisp cotton linen. Would also be great for large family holidays as well as craft/walking holidays. We were full board and we enjoyed the delights of Sally and Tim's delicious farmhouse food they are amazing hosts and wonderful friendly people, nothing too much trouble. Plenty to do here, just a short walk from the farm you can find a private beach, there is also an indoor heating swimming pool on the farm, gardens of heligan a short car ride and of course you have views from the farm of the delightful harbour of Mevagissey . I have wonderful memories of my holidays here.

I stayed in the barn for a painting holiday in October and had a wonderful time despite awful weather. Tim and Sally are excellent hosts - friendly and relaxed. The food is sublime - all local and fresh; we even had fresh mackerel for breakfast. The rooms are comfortable with fresh white linen. Bodrugan is a working farm and it is a delight to watch the working dogs go about their work with the sheep. Well worth the trip.

We stayed at Rockpool, a beautiful 3 bed cottage, in late September. The cottage has been very nicely renovated and decorated and I loved the bright, sunny master bedroom. Very comfortable beds with clean white linen and fluffy towels. The cosy single room with the sea view was also great. Very well equipped kitchen and outside space.
We walked to the beach along the footpath from the farm (the footpath links to the South West Coast Path) and also to Mevagissey which is a beautiful harbour village. Gorran Haven is also worth a visit.
Used the pool once and we had it to ourselves. All in all a very nice and peaceful break in a brilliantly appointed and located cottage - would definitely book again.

A working farm, with a range of converted barns, modernised cottages and a six bedroom party house that sleeps 10 (the stables), where I stayed. Clean, lots of space, view ok except to tear, which is a caravan store. Caravan site co located, so quite s busy hamlet. Huge games room next door, but pool table had seen better days. Nice swiming pool and sauna. Masses of parking. Tim and family responded happily and promptly to all queries. Great venue for big, big party. We sat 17 with ease for dinner. Kitchen a bit cramped for that number, but it coped. Other. Kitchens could be used, if you had more than one building. Great value. Watch out for traffic jam in local town! Highly reccomended for self caterng holiday and-or pary venue.

We stayed in Swallows, a beautiful, well equipped cottage on a very peaceful working farm.
Nothing was too much trouble for Sue and Tim, we didn't have a car but they were kind enough to take us too and from a restaurant in a nearby village on our first night and then next day collected us, with our supplies, from Lobbs Farm shop at Heligan.
The welcome homemade bread (I can honestly say that was the best bread I have ever tasted), cake, clotted cream, tea, milk etc was much appreciated.
A big plus (if one was needed) was having the use of the swimming pool, not a tiny one but one where, if you were so inclined, you could get in some good exercise.
A 'right of way' goes through the farm so, if like us, you want to do some walking then I don't think you could be better placed.
If you weren't keen on walking then I think perhaps you do need a car to stay here but it certainly didn't stop us having a thoroughly enjoyable week's holiday.

Very good standard of accomodation, recently refurbished. Stayed in Ivy (1 week) then Pound (1 week) semidetached cottages to get 2 adjacent weeks for a late booking in July. No noise from next door, and they couldn't hear our electric guitar either! Stone walls. Beautiful Kitchen and Bosch touch control halogen hob and Bosch double oven/ microwave. I want one!
Very friendly hosts, always on hand to respond quickly to any queries, requests. Nothing was too much trouble. The welcome bread, cake and clotted cream was lovely. WIFI good. Pool excellent. always just us, except where we agreed to share with neighbours for kids to play together. Short walk to local cove.Saw Hawks, Woodpecker, Stoat, house martins nesting in barn, Big Owl, and badger in the area. Table tennis , lego & pool in games room. Hint, bring own T-Tennis bats & balls. or buy from Sport Direct in St Austell. The communal ones don't last long. I wouldn't stay anywhere else for another Cornwall Visit. Saw the TESLA Roadster at Eden project a few miles away, there for special Electric Vehicle demos during August.. Went in Electric Land Rover Game Vehicle, and test drove Nissan Leaf. both surprisingly impressive. visited Eden twice, once we'd paid you can come back free for a year. Kids did, Adrenalin Quarry Zipwire, & big swing, Quads, Granite Planet Climbing in Falmouth, See Cornwall guide of 50 things to do for Kids. Great shopping in Truro. In pool every day for an hour. A good size for proper swimming and warm, with showers, & Sauna on request. Great beach at Caerhays. Plenty of good eateries to suit all budgets & tastes, not always the ones which were recommended. I have to mention Sharks Fin on the front at Mevagissey. Service quckest I've ever known for a restaurant. Not too dear and good quality. Good Cinema in St Austell, recently refurbished. Oh, and no vicious dogs. Only one small Spaniel puppy. Strangely Nowhere in Cornwall seems to be more than a hour away, whether its 20,30or 40miles away! must be the A30/A390/A391 roads. We may come again just for the relax and the pool, and the beaches, and the shopping in Truro, and.....
