“Home from home”
Reviewed 21 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Love this place. Clean, tidy, everything you would want to put your hand on. Our friend who came with us wants to live there forever. Whatever you looked for, whether it was a tea towel or a tissue, it was there. The beds were comfy, the view was excellent, the instructions for anywhere were accurate and interesting. You really couldn't want for anything better than being in your own home. Lovely village/harbour. We were certainly fitter when we came home than when we went. Great!
Have a look in the aquarium in the harbour and take a walk around to watch the waves. Try the Fortune pub and the little grocery store. Perfect place for a holiday.

“First class”
Reviewed 9 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

First time we have stayed in this accommodation.

First impression was that the place was clean and tidy, inviting with a great view.

It's like being at home with sea views as there is everything you could wish for in the accommodation, hair dryer, iron, washing machine, fridge, cooker, TV, DVD player, towels, pots, pans, cutlery, comfortable beds, comfy chairs and sofa.

The accommodation is in a great location, just a short walk to the village, there is a hill to walk up on the way back from the village but you do get used to this after a day or two. Directions to the cottage are given by the owner and are easy to follow.

You will get a great nights sleep here as the beds are comfortable and it is s quiet neighbourhood.

There is so much to do in the village and surrounding area, with bars and restaurants a short walk or drive away.

We would not hesitate to stay here again as we had a lovely holiday, thanks very much.

“Excellent cottage”

This was a lovely cottage, it has its own parking which is rare in Mevagissy.

The cottage was furnished very nicely and had everything we needed including a washing machine which was great as it rained most of the week. It is situated in a great position for the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project.

The restaurants in the Harbour were lovely and I would really recommend the Harbour Inn and although the Sharkskin had lovely food the waiting was lengthy and they got our order wrong.

We were left a lovely cream tea by the owners and fresh flowers.

The only problem I had was the very steep hill leading to the property this is extremely steep and if you have any kind of walking difficulties I wouldn't recommend this property but most of the town is on a steep hill unless you are situated in the harbour.

Just a wonderful Cornish cottage. Extremely Clean and comfortable. Everything you could need in a holiday home.
Stunning views of the sea and Mevagissey. Allocated parking a real bonus! Was Rather a steep climb up the hill from the harbour But once up you have this little gem to relax in. Just perfect! Thank you so much to the owners

“Great cottage in a great position”

Seafarers Watch is a lovely terraced cottage set among 4 or 5 similar buildings and is ideally located above the harbour. Being able to park outside of the front door in what is a very hilly environment proved to be a real bonus. Not many premises offer this. Access to the cottage is via two locked doors which gives a good sense of security. Great views of the harbour are afforded from both the lounge and main bedroom and we passed many a pleasant hour watching the goings on of a working fishing village. The cottage is in very good condition and well maintained. It is well provisioned and has good bed linen and towels. It also has an excellent shower with good water pressure A welcome Cornish tea pack was a nice touch as well.
Access to the harbour and shops is via a steep hill and not suitable for people who are not steady on their feet. Allow 5 minutes for this. Cars cannot go down the hill. The village is bustling for most of the day and has a number of interesting shops, pubs and restaurants. The pick of which was the Ship Inn and the Salamander restaurant. Best Cornish pasties for us came from Martins bakery. For exercise we walked around the harbour to a set of steps leading to a small park, (in view from the cottage) and then followed the road down to the village before heading back up to the cottage. If your fit it should take you 20 mins and the park gives the best views of Mevaggisey and the seas beyond. Definitely recommend Seafarers Watch and look forward to staying a bit longer next time.

A very clean and comfortable cottage in a good location with lovely views of the harbour. Having your own parking space was an added bonus. Only a few minutes stroll and you are in the centre of Mevagissey. We would definitely recommend to friends and family.

“GREAT COTTAGE IN A GREAT LOCATION”
Reviewed 22 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We arrived on 13/6/15 & were greeted by the owners (nice touch) the cottage was spotless & well furnished with great views of the harbour. It is only a 5 min walk to the harbour with all its facilities. Places to eat No 1 the Salamander, No 2 No 5 restaurant, Good pub grub The Ship. This is the 3rd cottage we have rented in Mevagissey & by far the best, would recommend to all. PS there was even a nice Cornish cream tea waiting for us.
