This is no standard B&B!!!
Our booking was all rather last minute and I only found Pebble House after reading reviews on here, I am so glad that I did.
We originally booked Trawler (which is lovely by the way!), but after a warm welcome from Andrea and a glass of complimentary champagne we were offered an upgrade to Crabber!! The room is amazing and the views across the bay are just stunning!! The bed is huge and the most comfortable I have ever slept in!! It would have been a real struggle to get up in the morning if I did not know that the breakfast was going to be delicious! Complimentary Teas from tea pigs, Molton Brown goodies in the bathroom along with fluffy white bath robes and towels, amazing furniture and decor & an amazing collection of wall clocks that had me reaching for my wallet!, the place is a dream! There is ample parking and it is a great location for excursions around Cornwall. Andrea and Simon are just lovely as hosts and they have created a little gem of a hotel!! Book it!!! You will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: All rooms are great but the ones with the sea views are the best.

We are really touched by your lovely comments and are delighted that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay with us. The beds are like great fluffy supportive clouds aren't they and we are glad that you managed to get down to breakfast each day which we know you didn't want to miss. We also enjoyed "spoiling" you both during your stay
We both look forward to welcoming you back to Pebble House next time your busy jobs allow you some time off

This is no ordinary Bed and Breakfast. If you are looking for attention to detail and five star service then this is the place to stay. The view from the breakfast room is stunning. The breakfast menu is comprehensive but they are happy to cook food to individuals taste. In addition they are happy to advise on places to visit and clearly have a good knowledge of area.
Highly recommended.

We stayed at Pebbles on 7th June for 3 nights, we stayed in the ground floor room with a terrace with views over the sea. It is very rare you get such stunning views over the sea in this country.

We arrived around 2pm and was greeted by Simon who took us to our room. He then made us a complementary cream tea we sat on the terrace and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, it was just what we needed after our 5 hour journey.

The rooms are very luxurious and comfortable, the added extra of mouton brown bathroom products and tea pig complementary beverages and bottle water refreshed everyday.

Simon and Andrea have a good knowledge of the area, we wanted to do a bit of walking and they talk to us about the area and gave us books on different coastal walks, they just seem to have the time to talk and make you feel comfortable. They seem to generally want you to have a enjoyable and stress free break, which we did.

The breakfasts were of excellent quality they use local produce as much as they can. There is a very good choice, but they would always do something different if you require due to your dietary needs. I would recommend the eggs Benedict.

Andrea and Simon are very nice people and they have a fantastic place to stay. It is great news they were awarded 5 star gold, this was awarded during my stay,

Ray and Steph

I can, in all honesty say that I have never stayed in a nicer UK hotel, this place is perfect.

I had booked a lower cost ‘garden view’ room on the morning of travel but was greeted with the news that I had been upgraded to a room with a sea view. This generous gesture gave a hint as to the treat that was to come.

The hotel is the project, the vision, the passion and dream of Simon and Andrea a charming couple who have spent endless hours and, I would guess, more than a small fortune in converting a hill top house into a wonderful modern yet very homely top notch hotel where every detail has been carefully thought through and immaculately carried out.

Being high up the views across Mevagissey bay are just beautiful, to see the trawlers coming home surrounded by clouds of seagulls is just magical and as the sun sets the bay is lit up by a golden glow. What’s more you have this view from your room, the dinning room and the delightful terrace.

On arrival I was offered tea on the terrace complete with a choice of home made cake, the banana bread I chose was delicious.

The room was beautifully decorated, the bed was the largest I’ve ever slept in…what is beyond King size…is there an emperor size I wonder, the mattress was about six foot thick. No expense has been spared on the linen, the towels or pillows, all are top quality.

The bathroom was, in keeping with everything else, first rate with an excellent shower and beautiful fittings. Even here there were little thoughtful touches such as a jar of q-tips, make-up remover pads, Molton Brown shampoos and soaps etc.. A box of goodies, bottled spring water and various snacks were also provided along with a flat screen TV.

The breakfast was just excellent. Andrea adds to the already extensive range of fruits and cereals a Granola she makes herself which you must try. I had the full English, again all first rate, everything sourced locally, beautifully prepared and presented. You are offered freshly squeezed orange juice, no carton stuff here, the toast is, of course home made.

If asked Simon and Andrea will sit down with you and pass on their wealth of knowledge of the local area and tell you the story of the project, to listen to this whilst gazing out to the far horizon is.....magic, pure magic.

If you stay there you will just love it, you are in for a real treat, just a pity Tripadvisor doesn't have a ten star rating.

We cannot thank you enough for taking the time to write and your so very kind words both about us and your experience whilst staying with us at Pebble House. You are quite right, the views really are something from here and quite unique.
The bed you slept in is a superking and really enables one to spread out so you can both almost starfish together.
IT touches us greatly that you felt how much of ourselves we have put into our renovations that enabled you to feel so at home - just the home from home experience we were looking to create here
We both look forward to welcoming you back to Pebble House on your next trip to Cornwall and maybe even more so, despite you wanting to give us 10 out of 5 already, now we have been awarded AA Five Star Gold Guest Accommodation AND Five Star Gold for Simons Breakfasts

After a day out in the sunshine and looking for somewhere to enjoy a rest and something to eat I came across Pebble House, what a find. The salmon and cream cheese was, as my youngest son says, like a taste sensation dancing on your tongue, although he reserves that saying for italian strawberry icecream, and the freshly ground coffee was just sublime. Simon and Andrea were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, even to the extent of encouraging me to just sit and enjoy the view after finishing, and their local knowledge was only surpassed by their devotion to use "all things local". A great addition to the beautiful town of and a must stop off for any wanderers who make it out of the harbour to enjoy the fantastic views that surround Mevagissey

Pebble house is one of those places you don't want to leave! The bedrooms were amazing and every detail thought of. I loved the Molton Brown products in the bathrooms and the homemade tea and cakes served every afternoon. I miss the incredible breakfasts and sea views. Andrea and Simon were so welcoming and full of suggestions for things to do in and around the area. You are right on the coastal path and so if you are keen on walking then this is somewhere for you. Also a lovely little unspoilt beach you can walk to if you like rock pools and a paddle in the sea! Its a special place - I thoroughly recommend!!

Room Tip: I had Crabber, which was perfect with a lovely sea view.
