We stayed for four nights (8 July to 12 July) and it was just great - close enough to the centre of Mevagissey but not right on top of it - and fantastic views over the harbour! Really good selection of food items for breakfast (bacon was particularly good) and the bedrooms were nice and clean with very comfy beds - just what you needed after a full day 'out and about'. Thanks Val and Ian - we hope to visit again next year!

We stayed in the Albert room for my birthday getaway and found that it was fantastic. The views from the balcony is amazing and the room was a reasonable size. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quiet reasonably priced place to stay in Mevagissey.

Ian and Val we so welcoming and even left a card and choccies in my room for when I arrived, you couldn't ask for better hospitality and can say that we will be staying there again sometime before the end of the year.

Room Tip: If you want to take in the beautiful views of Mevagissey Harbour and St Austell bay, I would definat...

I stayed in this wonderful establishment in June whilst touring the area by motorcycle. What a find!!!!! Ian and Val made me feel so welcome it felt like home from home. The accomadation was first rate. I have often found single rooms seem to be an after thought, not here.
Ian and Val good not do enough to make my stay perfect.
Thank you to both of you
Adrian

We had a lovely 3 night stay in Honeycombe House in July 2013. We stayed in the Allbert room, which has a balcony from which there are stunning views over Mevagissey harbour and St Austell Bay. The views can also be enjoyed from the breakfast room - we really enjoyed watching the boats coming and going whilst eating breakfast.

Ian and Val the owners were both really friendly and helpful and the room was a decent size. From the hotel it is short walk into Mevagissey were there are plentiful pubs and restaurant. There is stunning coastal walking in both directions from the doorstop. From Mevagissey harbour you can also catch the ferry to Fowey which we did one day and would recommend.

I would recommend Mevagissey and Honeycombe house in particular.

Wonderful position of Honeycombe House is just the start, the welcome and service provided by Ian and Val is great. The only 'down side' of the position is the heart thumping walk back after dinner in the town but this is a small price to pay.

Room Tip: Victoria room has a great balcony and outlook.

We had a wonderful stay at Honeycombe House. Ian and Val's warm hospitality made us feel very welcome and comfortable at their beautiful B&B.
The rooms are nice, clean and decorated with lots of charm. The breakfast is delicious (big choice of different food) and the views from the breakfast room over the harbor, ocean and Cornish coast are just unbeatable.
Ian's tips for travelling around amazing Cornwall were very useful and much appreciated.
Really, we had a great, relaxing holiday at Honeycombe House and highly recommend this B&B for your stay in Mevagissey.

we have just had a 7 night stay at the Honeycombe House and were very pleased with our choice.
We stayed 2 nights in the Wadsworth ( a very nice room - very airy and a nice feature wall) and then 5 nights in the Victoria (with a balcony) it was just great. Ian and Val allowed us to put a bottle of wine in the dining room fridge which we enjoyed one evening sitting on the balcony overlooking the harbour watching the world go by - fantastic. The whole place was spotless, lovely fluffy white towels, and white bed linen. Good choice for breakfasts and good quality products. This B & B is a real gem and if you are visiting the Megavissey area, give this one a go you wont be disappointed!! Lots to see around the area, but some roads are very narrow so beware- but most situations are resolved easily with a bit of reversing and compromising. Lots of good places to eat, and the St Austell Brewery tour is a good half-day out and easily reached by bus. I

Room Tip: Victoria or Albert because of the balcony but good views from others as well.
