We originally stayed here 10 years ago and decided to return for our 20th anniversary. The room we stayed in had amazing views over the harbour and a balcony to sit on. Ian and Val made us very welcome and also made a special effort to cater for some dietary needs for my wife. The room was clean with plenty of tea and coffee and also some biscuits and local fudge. The 2 balcony rooms also include a reserved parking space which was very handy. Breakfast was great and cooked to order. Plenty of everything. We'll definitely go back.

Room Tip: Choose the balcony rooms for amazing harbour views and a reserved parking space.

We had a very great stay in a nice, clean room. We loved the view from the brakfast-room over the harbour of mevagissey. Val and Ian are very friendly and helpful to their guests. Ian is a very good cooker. There's a familiar atmosphere.

I stayed at Honeycombe House with my daughter in the 'Albert' room which was lovely, the main feature being access to a balcony with fantastic views out over Mevagissey bay. The room was well equipped, clean and tidy and complimentary tea/coffee, water and biscuits were restocked everyday. Ian and Val were excellent hosts, there if you needed them but not invading on your privacy at all and they provided a delciious breakfast cooked to order! Again the view was fantastic from the breakfast room where you can watch the goings on around the harbour or gaze out to sea. I would definately recommend staying here to anyone visiting Mevagissey, but would suggest that when booking a room do you best to try and get one with parking as trying to find somewhere to leave your car in the village would be costly and inconvenient. the room we had was allocated a parking space and that really was a bonus!

Room Tip: Ask for a room that has allocated parking, I believe only two have it and it's pretty essential

Honeycombe House is ideally situated for exploring Mevagissey and the surrounding area. We stayed for four nights and the welcome and accommodation were excellent. Victoria room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well furnished and had the added bonus of a balcony with an outstanding sea view. Ian and Val, our hosts, were exceptionally thoughtful and helpful. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and served in a dining room with a magnificent, panoramic view of the harbour and town. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely visit again if in the area.

Room Tip: Victoria and Albert rooms have a balconies with a sea views, but other rooms in the house also have...

We stayed at Honeycombe while walking the coastal path. The rooms are very luxurious and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast is fabulous. It is such good value for money. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

This is the third time we have stayed at Honeycombe House. We stayed in Victoria room, with friends in Albert and Wordsworth. Val and Ian could not have been more welcoming and sensitive. Obviously with a group there is a worry that the other guests may be disturbed and the hosts light touch on this, which wasn't needed in our case, is more evidence of their consideration for all guests. The views, rooms, food and service are all first class and it would be hard to better. We had amazing weather to enjoy Heligan, coastal walks and the ferry over to the regatta at Fowey, which was amazing. Red Arrows in the evening sun a memory to cherish.

Room Tip: Albert or Victoria
