My partner & I returned to stay there after 20 yrs, It still had a wow factor looking out to the very pictureque harbour, although our favourite room was booked ( overlooking harbour with balcony ) we still had a great room with a good sea view. Very clean in the whole house & breakfast was delicious & nothing too much trouble. Go ahead and book this taste of paradise.

Room Tip: Book the room Victoria or Albert....We had Wordsworth room which is still nice but only a bay view.

I stayed here after a day of walking on the coast path and left early so didnt experience breakfast so cant commet on the food.
However all other aspects were top quality.
Would highly recommend it and would revisit.

Stayed for three nights as a short break. Already knew Mevagissey so had an idea of the location of Honeycombe House, but was still stunned by the wonderful views from the breakfast room. Stayed in the "Wordsworth" room - a double with en-suite and view out to sea. Lovely room. Spotlessly clean and plenty of provisions. Val and Ian were totally accommodating and friendly. Also got a chance to meet the two dogs before we left! The breakfast range was good and the portions were sensible and filling. Mevagissey is a good base for a swathe of Cornwall. Easy to get to Truro and we travelled across to the north coast very easily. Heligan and Eden are so near. Quite happy to recommend this b&b to anyone wanting a quiet, friendly and good value stay. Already set up for a return (longer) stay next year in one of the rooms with a balcony and view across the harbour.

Room Tip: The en-suite toilet / shower room in Wordsworth could be a little tight for people of a portly frame!

Stayed one night whilst walking the South West Coastal Path. I was in the single room "Stevenson" which had its own shower and toilet just down the corridor. Spotlessly clean. Great to have breakfast in the veranda overlooking the sea and a wide menu choice; I love having fruit included. The only problem was that Honeycombe House was at the top of a hill having walked up hills all afternoon!
