Stayed here for 3 nights in mid May. Very comfortable, with great views, especially from Room 3. Excellent breakfasts. Claire's husband is a local fisherman, which is interesting.

Weve just had a week in this superb b&b and could not fault it,clare the owner is a fantastic host. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable as is the whole house, stunning views of the harbour and surrounding coast line.Breakfast was freshly cooked with high quality ingredients and any combination you want .We can not praise this place enough and you will want want for nothing here ,even binoculars are provided to take in the stunning views. You also have 2 superb restruants just down the road ,ROOVERAYS and SALAMANDER with in 5 mins walking distance.Only negative point with this place is the steep hill from the village and steps up to the house so you need to be fit,but you will be rewarded by breathtakig views and excellent accomadation.

Room Tip: we stayed in room 2

Great location with fantastic views over the habour, the village of Megavissey and the bay. Very well decorated bedrooms furnished to a high standard, spotlessly clean with luxurious bedlinen and towels, quality toiletries. Each breakfast was made fresh to order. The On site parking provided is invaluable in Mevagissey. Clare's knowledge of the local restaurants and places of interest is very useful. Would come back again without hesitation.

When searching for accomodation in Mevagissey ,I was first attracted to this B & B by it's name.Conjuring up images of stormy oceon vistas and seafaring vessels made it sound very reminiscent of adventurous days gone by.Surprise, surprise!!.For most of our all too short stay, the air was crisp but kind to us with only one drissly day. Clare greeted us at her door upon arrival, and from there on everything went swimmingly.Everything is shipshape from top to toe.Excellent breakfasts.Good conversation around the breakfast table when Clare willingly offers suggestions for daily activities and answers queries from the guests..Faultlessly clean.
We spent all of our three days in the township itself. Just a short downhill stroll from "Wild Air",you can choose the narrow street and footpath or follow the South coast path to the village. The village itself is delightful and has plenty of quality eating places and good shopping and very interesting history. If you look up from the harbour Wild Air stands out from the other properties on Polkirt Hill. Its a good but not difficult walk back to your cosy room, where you will find the most beautiful vista from your window, overlooking the harbour, the lighthouse and out to sea, and I'm sure you will wish you could stay longer. We did!!

We stayed for 6 nights in July and highly recommend this B & B.
We were made very welcome by Clare and her family, our room on the top floor was very comfortable and had lovely views over the harbour and bays.Breakfast was lovely and substantial and also a social event as all the guests ate together, so could catch up on what they had done, plans for the day etc. Being situated on the coastal path was ideal for exploring the local area. We would highly recommend a visit to Mevagissey and a stay at Wild Air.

We spent 6 wonderful days at Claire's "Wild air". The view from our room just down to the harbour and the lighthouse is just amazing, and so is the accommodation itself. The rooms are very aesthetically furnished, very clean; excellent, tasty breakfast and last but not least Claire herself who runs the house just perfect and now is just a friend! We will come back!
