We have stayed at the Wild Air 5 times now and have always had a very enjoyable stay. Clare makes you feel so welcome and her knowledge of all of Cornwall is second to none. Her breakfast is superb and all cooked from local produce i would recommend the smoked haddock but whatever you choose it will set you up for the day . It is an ideal place to base yourself to visit anywhere in the county. Thanks Clare we will be back.

Thanks Andy, always a great pleasure to have you both here. You will be much missed at this years Feast Week but in our thoughts!

You have in fact been here 6 times now (you came twice in 2008), so thanks as always for your continued support.

Look forward to seeing you again soon.

We stayed here for just one night. Good location as it has parking and a quick walk to the village. Sadly the weather was not on our side, otherwise it would be a good base for walking to some of the neighbouring towns/villages. There is a choice for breakfast, the only thing that could be improved is checking exactly which items guests would like, to avoid any wastage.

We stayed for four days at Wild Air and it could not have been better. Our room was beautiful, in fact the whole house is full of the most beautiful pictures and objects. The view of the harbour and sea from the chaise longue was much appreciated by David who usually got there first. Breakfasts were epic with plenty of choice and lovely fresh produce as well as good company and chat. The bed was comfortable with feather duvet and crisp white linens. The bathroom was well stocked with all you could possibly need. In fact Clare goes out of her way to think of everything to make your stay memorable. Clare and Mike are the most welcoming hosts and full of local knowledge. We had a very relaxing stay.

Room Tip: All three rooms are very nice. We stayed in number 2

The second time we have stayed at Clare's place and we hope to be able to make it again next year. The views to the harbour from all rooms and the terrace are amazing.
Really top quality bed linen on comfortable beds and spotlessly clean.
My mother in law (84 years) loved the place too, and the way Clare looked after her.

our first visit to Wild Air - definately to be repeated ! hubbie goes on a sea fishing trip from Mevagissey with his mates two or three times a year. good B+B's are getting harder to come by especially in the town and if I tag along! we've stayed outside Mevagissey in the past but its not so convenient. finding Wild Air is a real coup and we will be back - subject to availability! cannot recommend it highly enough. thank you so much !

Thank you Julie for your kind words so pleased you enjoyed your stay here.

Sorry there is no room at the Inn for September but pop in for a cuppa while John is fishing!

Hope to see you next time.

We had arranged to arrive late and the calm and friendly welcome from Clare was just what was needed after a long day out. The house has been very tastefully decorated and equipped, including all the facilities we now expect as standard. Clearly, Clare has worked on the basis of giving her guests the same experience and high standard of hospitality that she would expect for herself - well done.
Breakfast was a joy with a wide range of freshly prepared options. No wonder that this has been recognised by a formal award.
We had come to see the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project (both within easy reach) but the magnificant view of the Harbour and bay from our room was a welcome bonus. Clare is happy to share her extensive local knowledge and we found this most valuable in planning our trips out.
We have no hesitation in recommending Wild Air to the discerning traveller, with the proviso that he or she understands that the house is up a hill overlooking the village.

Clare and Mike are the most wonderful hosts and made me feel very welcome. The food and cleanliness can only be stated in one word - EXCELLENT.

The view from my room was amazing and one day there was a “rescue” in the harbour which was very exciting (ended successfully) and Mike, as a local fisherman, spent some time explaining what had happened and the outcome.

Nothing was too much trouble for Clare and Mike to make the break as enjoyable as it could be – can’t wait to come back.

Room Tip: I stayed in Room 2 which had a fantastic view
