Mevagissey is one of our favourite holiday locations and we are frequent visitors to the area. We saw photographs of Wild Air via Facebook and have always wanted to stay at the top of Polkirt Hill as the views are stunning as is evident from the photographs. We stayed in room 3 which has a picture window looking out to sea and a sofa at the foot of the bed where we sat watching the activities around the harbour. We were a little concerned as this room isn't en suite but the bathroom wasn't far away and was for use of the occupants of Room 3 only. Breakfast was a real social occasion in the homely dining room and the food excellent chosen the day before from a very varied menu. We will definitely be back.

Very pleased to see that you agree that we have the best location in Mevagissey! Mevagissey is indeed a fantastic holiday destination and I am delighted that you return so frequently. Room 3 is by far the most popular room we have despite it not being en-suite, in fact all our regulars book it way in advance with all of them referring to it as ‘our room’ and they have all dared us to alter it in anyway. As has been mentioned the main bathroom of the house is for the sole use of this room, and the totally breath taking view more than makes up for taking part of the room away to make an en-suite. I am additionally happy that you also enjoyed the very special breakfast time at Wild Air. Thank you again.

Great view, great and quiet room, good breakfast. The b&b is up a hill from the town center but it's only a few minutes over the coastal path. The B&B also has an outdoor patio with great view which is a brilliant place to eat a takeaway!

This was the best place we stayed on our trip arround England. It is quite a bit different from a normal hotel stay, and feels more like you are visiting someone. The B&B only has 3 rooms, and all the guest share one big table for breakfast, this makes for a nice and cozy talk arround the breakfast table since you get to chat with the others.

Room 1&2 looked like mirrored rooms, just on ground and 1st floor - they both have ensuite bath and what looked like pretty good view of the sea. We stayed in room 3 which was a huge room with magnificent view of the sea and town/harbour. The drawback of room 3 is that the bathroom is not ensuite. You have to go out in the hallway and into a private bathroom, but I would say the better view is worth it unless you are very shy/private.

The hostess was very friendly and have forinstance put alot of work into writing a comprehensive guidebook on the area, and cornwall as a general. She is also very keen on giving hints and tips on what to do and where to go.

Room Tip: Room 1 & 2 have private bathroom inside the room (en suite). Room 3 have bigger window and bet...

I am truly touched that you found the atmosphere we have created at Wild Air to be one akin to visiting friends and of course delighted to hear this was the best place on your trip around England. Great to hear that you enjoyed your breakfasts with us and that the information folder was so helpful for you. Many of our regular guests are in agreement with you that the view from room 3 outweighs spoiling the room and turning it into an en-suite, and all guests are made aware that it is not an en-suite room prior to their visit. Many thanks for taking the time to review us and hope to welcome you again in the future.

These guests were some of the youngest we have had in a while. They were an absolute delight to have staying with us and I am thrilled that they took the time to do such a lovely review highlighting so many points about their stay. We very much look forward to welcoming them back to Wild Air again in the future.

We don't usually give excellent reviews, but this B & B warrants it. Everything about it is A1,
The room we requested we were given and was exactly what we wanted.
We were asked what we wanted for breakfast and the choice was extensive and set us up for the day.
We cannot thank Clare enough.
A truly lovely B & B

We are very well aware that it is impossible to please all of the people all of the time. But receiving reviews like this makes all our efforts worthwhile. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your room and breakfast so much that it warrants an A1 and many thanks for giving us an excellent review. We hope you will return soon.

We spent one night in this small B&B and very much enjoyed it. The room had spectacular views out to sea and over the outer harbour of Mevagissey. The owner was very friendly, cooks a good breakfast and encourages guests to talk to each other. The bathroom was good. Everything seemed very clean and we would cheerfully return. There was a parking space in front of the B&B. (There are several stairs here and, like most of Cornwall?, it is on a steep hill, so it's not for people with mobility problems.)

The B&B is on the coastal path (the walk out to Gorran Haven was great - with several views of a seal). The most pleasant way into the village centre is to go down through the park in front of the B&B - head down and left - and you will emerge on the path along the harbour. This keeps you away from the busy road leading in and out of Mevagissey.

Just back from a lovely 4 night stay at Wild Air. Incredible views from the room, excellent home cooked breakfasts. Landlady Clare was very friendly and helpful. I really doubt if you will find a better situated or more homely accommodation in Mevagissey! We also met some really nice fellow guests there and would not hesitate for a minute in returning sometime soon.
