Beautiful accommodation. I've stayed in c500 hotels/B&Bs and this is one of my favourites. I booked this for the 2 nights prior to my wedding. It is a beautiful apartment with gorgeous river views and a private courtyard. We got ready for the wedding here and Bee was so so helpful. Stunning place. Would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying again :)

“Wonderful Wood Park Stables”

The Rame Peninsula is one area of Cornwall we hadn't visited before (after all it is the forgotten corner of Cornwall) and so when we found Wood Park Stables on Trip Advisor we couldn't resist.

The accommodation at Wood Park is well appointed, with an en-suite bathroom upstairs and an additional wet room downstairs. The kitchen, dining / living area is a good size and worked well for us as a family. The bedroom was large enough to have an extra put up bed for our daughter, so her older brother could have the sofa bed downstairs to him self. The courtyard was especially memorable, a perfect little sun trap (almost Mediterranean!). The views over the river were great and we had some fabulous sunsets.

Wood Park Stables were a perfect base for our short break. Ideally situated for Whitsand Bay, Kingsand & Cawsand beaches and of course Mount Edgcumbe.

Millbrook is an easy stroll, where you can find a few small grocery shops. There were a couple of pubs, although we didn't try either of them.

Cremyll is a more challenging walk, but certainly not too taxing. We tried two routes; one via the coastal path which was less hilly and more scenic but slightly further. The other route via the main road, was shorter but more hilly.

At Cremyll you'll find the Edgcumbe Arms, we didn't eat there but the food looked nice. However, more importantly (for me) they serve a number of beers from my favourite 'St Austell' brewery!

From Cremyll you can catch the foot ferry to Plymouth, they run every 30 mins (varying schedules depending on time of the year) and it takes about 10 minutes to make the crossing. Once there I'd recommend the short walk to the Royal William dockyard, where there are plenty of bars / restaurants.

Overall we had a great time. Beverley & Andrew were great hosts and made us very welcome. I'm sure we'll be paying Wood Park Stables a visit in the future.

“Beautiful accommodation and surroundings”

Me and my partner stayed here for a week, from the moment we arrived we felt relaxed in the amazing location whilst eating our complementary cream teas that were a welcome greeting.

There were plenty of things to see on the doorstep (short walk away) Mount Edgecumbe, Cremyll and Millbrook and a short drive away was plenty more.

The accommodation was clean, comfy and had everything you'd need for self-catering.

Beverley and her husband were lovely and gave us some great recommendations for eating out.

We would definitely stay here again!

“Comfy, cosy and clean!”

We were an hour late to check in, however, bee still came out at 10pm in the wind and rain to say hello and ask us how our journey was. Pictures would never do this place justice! The surroundings are beautiful and my girlfriend was very impressed with how clean and lovley it was inside. The bed is so so comfy and the place stayed warm throughout the weekend which resulted in us both being very relaxed. Everything we needed was included, fresh towels, tea, coffee. We even had milk and coissants! We only used to top shower and it was fantastic but the wet room downstairs looked very nice. I would 100% stay again and recommend to friends and family. Thanks again bee!

“Beautiful Accommodation”

When we arrived late at night we was greeted by the owner, she had left in the accommodation all the little extras like milk sugar tea coffee and scones with cream and jam, which was a lovely touch it was warm and welcoming after a long drive. She had also put fresh flowers too which made it even more homely. It was central to where we needed to be lovely walks plenty to do. I would recommend this to anyone. Unlike a lot of places we stay in the bed was really comfortable too.

We arrived to a very warm welcome - very much appreciated after a long journey. Wood Park Stables is in the most idyllic location, with gorgeous views over the water. We enjoyed beautiful walks from the door, and explored lovely Cornish fishing villages nearby. Beverley and Andrew have thought of everything - the stables are immaculate; tastefully decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean and with lovely little touches.
