“Delightful find on a rainy afternoon!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 April 2013

While staying in Cornwall and out exploring the coastline, we happened upon the Mullion Cove Hotel. It was raining (again) and we needed a place to dry off and enjoy a cup of tea. We wandered into this grand old hotel and were thoroughly impressed with the friendly reception and the private sitting room we were shown to, to enjoy our tea and cake! We enjoyed the great ocean views and free wifi, and felt right at home. We enjoyed it so much, we came back the next day for dinner, and the following day for lunch. Fabulous, well priced meals each time! Delightful place to spend a few hours, or a weekend!

3 night stay, fantastic service, rooms, bar, beer, wine and, most of all - the food! Our room looked recently decorated, well equipped and comfortable. The staff were, as always, freindly, helpful, all you could want really.

Finally, the location, overlooking the harbour, lovely views out from the cliffs, ##Brilliant!

Room Tip: Try a room - ANY room!

We have recently returned from another fantastic 3 night stay.
We cannot rate this hotel highly enough,it always maintains the same excellent standards, and we regard this as the very best hotel in Cornwall(and we travel a lot). I am vegetarian and the kitchen went out of their way to accommodate me with the most outstanding meals, my partner also had the seafood platter which he said was simply amazing!
This was the first time that we met Darren as I must say that he is a true credit to the mullioncove and enhanced our stay even more.
We will be returning in July, and are considering the stain glass window course in November.
Stay at this hotel and you will not regret it!

Room Tip: Room210 if you want to spoil yourselves with the most amazing views

Some of the Bistro reviews have said that the bistro is pricey. Yes it is and keep it that way. If you want the best then you have to pay for it. If you want cheaper then motor on down to Helston Town and pay half price - but you won't get the classy service, excellent food or the magnificent views. If you think you're worth it, then go as you won't be disappointed.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at Mullion Cove Hotel where we enjoyed one of the most wonderful weekends ever. This beautiful hotel sits on a cliff overlooking spectacular scenery and yet is easily accessible. We booked a Premiere Seaview Room and found it to be enchanting. The room (like the rest of the hotel) has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. Our room and the bathroom were suburb, completely modern and beautifully decorated. The view from our room was breathtaking. The food at the hotel is exceptional. Breakfast was made to order and a delicious start to our days. The dinners were fabulous with a different and varied menu each night. The staff was welcoming, friendly and interested in our daily excursions. It was very easy to venture out from here and see beautiful Cornwall. We cannot recommend ths hotel highly enough. Book this treasure quickly and soon! You will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: Book a Seaview room. It is worth the little extra. You don't want to miss the views. #210 is ex...

Stayed for a short break with all the family, three generations, all of us enjoyed the Hotel. The service was excellent, food marvelous, and the rooms, although not large, were very comfortable with every convenience. The location is spectacular, and a great base to explore Cornwall.

Room Tip: Bedrooms at front have spectacular views over the sea.

We love having meals at the Mullion Cove Hotel and would highly recommend it. It is such a beautiful Victorian building in a stunning location, high up on the cliffs overlooking Mullion Harbour and Island. The food is always fresh and delicious, with plenty of choice. The staff are all delightful. Last night we were looked after by Chris and Natalie, both so welcoming and friendly.
We were so pleased to see Natalie, returned from Maternity Leave. She was charming and efficient as ever. It was a lovely warm way to spend a very chilly evening.
