Parkdean - Mullion Holiday Park
Reviewed 22 May 2014

Came here on a sun holiday. Nice little place. We seemed to have a new caravan and it was very nice. Didnt do an awful lot in the park as we were out most the time but we did go and watch the evening entertainment. It was good fun. All the staff were very friendly and polite.
Would recommend this park for anyone who wants to get away for a few days. But take plenty of money as the drinks are very expensive!

We loved it.Everything about it was just absolutely spot on.We had an extra wide six berth caravan.
After reading some reviews we all said 'did we make the right choice' well we definitely did.
Our caravan/mobile home accommodation was immaculately clean and had a smell of freshness to it as soon as we opened the door.We stayed for 4 nights having driven from N.E.London and only wished that we could've stayed longer. Its a very quiet and very well planned site.We were on the edge of the camp looking onto the fields. It was a real gem.
Flat screen TV a DVD and a radio all perfectly well functioning so we were able to watch all the programmes on TV that we do at home.
Not forgetting the comfy beds,we all had great nights sleep as it was so very quiet and peaceful at night.
Being close to so many beauty spots was also a major help as nowhere was too far to go.
Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help and always asked if there was anything that we needed.
I don't think that we were lucky as this is definitely a good place for a break.Highly recommended.

Stayed on a newspaper promotion holiday. Arrived at 4.10 for 4pm check in and no booking seemed to have been reserved for us. We were given a chalet that didn't seem to have been updated since the 1960's with no nearby parking. It made me feel like packing up and heading home to be honest. On looking around there were no wonderful caravans and they were pitched very close to each other with only space for 1 car per van. The touring sites were poor quality too with a large pill of earth in the middle of the area

Great holiday base. You need a car to get around to get the benefits of this location. Close to Lands End, St Ives and Falmouth. For the kids Flambards is a 10 minute drive. Caravan was clean and comfy. The site staff were friendly, but the restaurant was a huge disappointment even after 2 attempts. The first night it took over 2 hours which considering they were only half full is concerning for those planning a trip in high season. The second attempt saw the only 3 tables having issues with food and drink, you are supposed to see through a glass of white wine, you expect the food on the menu to arrive as described and when I order chicken....I do expect it to be cooked unlike the steak which appeared to have been set to incinerate. I certainly do not expect then to have a slap on the back with a patronising apology when I complain. My advice check out the local villages for some great restaurants and share your hard earned cash with the whole community such as Mounts Bay in Mullion.
That aside the site has great facilities for kids and adults alike and I would recommend the park to other's.

When down with friend for a long weekend and for a Nyomie's 16th Birthday. Weather dry, as for the holiday park, fab. 1st time here and would come back for a longer break. We went to Flambards another great day. What the park has to offer is value for money. Fab time had by all.

First caravan they showed us was dirty and smelt! Toothpaste in sink spoon on bedroom floor, and this was meant to be the upgrade.
We were three adults and a child and we were squashed! It was meant to be for 6!!
When you pulled the bed out in the living room you had to ram the table over as far as it would go then lift it to get the bed down.
Caravans so close together you could hear the snoring from next door.
Swimming pool was dirty and uninviting,
Can only assume we got the dregs as it was booked as a sun holiday!
