Excellent stay at the Roundhouse Mill. A beautiful view from the dining area whilst enjoying a wonderful breakfast. The rooms are really clean and comfortable and we were made to feel most welcome. We were well placed for both the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. Would recommend.

A beautiful home with outstanding views from the breakfast room. Very friendly and helpful hosts Peter and Lisa. Breakfast is superb and plentiful; the rooms are spotless and cosy. We couldn't fault it and will definitely come again and be happy to recommend to others.

I stayed one night whilst i was attending a friends nearby wedding. The whole place is clean, comfortable and airy. The breakfast was well prepared and served with a smile. The view from the dining room is specactular and although this property appears close to a main road their was no disturbance. In my opinion the pièce de résistance was the quality of the bed linen. I have slept in many hotels in my life but i do not remember any where with better quality bedding. The owners were friendly and helpful and this would make an excellent base to explore the coast. Watch out for the signage as the enterance zooms up on you before you know it. We drove past and had to do a u-turn. Having said that it did make it easier to enter the lane. There is a great pasty shop in the nearby village lostwithiel.

What can I say. Excellent service! Custard tart on arrival, superb service and a great breakfast to send us on our way!

Would DEFINATELY recommend. Just watch out for the little signs as you could miss them!

We used this as a base for the Eden project, literally 15 minutes drive away.

Stayed one night on 5th December 2012 as we wanted to see Eden project and this B&B is nearby. Warm friendly reception from owner who supplied us with hot tea and custard slices in the beautiful lounge with great views across St Austell bay and surrounding hills. The lounge contains the preserved huge wooden grinding shaft of the old granary mill. Our double room (No 1) was gorgeously warm and cosy given freezing temp's outside. En-suite shower room was not large but space well used and spotlessly clean. Big plus point is mirror over usable surface (chest of drawers) and power point adjacent. Window gives view to bay. The property is adjacent to A390 which is busy, but this did not disturb our sleep, or any of our time there. The breakfast we had (both had full English) consisted of a sausage, bacon, a fried egg, tomatoes and mushrooms cooked with a dash of butter and cream - all very tasty and well cooked. A wood burner had been lit for us (we were the only guests that night). Presentation immaculate. The owner, Peter, gave us good advice as to where to go to eat in the evening.
Overall this is great value for money.
