Myself and two friends (plus two dogs) stayed for two nights at Ragstones B & B and couldn't have been made to feel more at home. I was the first to arrive and was warmly welcomed by Jacqui with homemade cake and a cup of tea. We were soon chatting as if we had been friends for years, joined by George when he got home from work. Despite my friends not arriving until after 1am, Jaqui and George insisted on staying up to greet them personally. After a fantastic sleep we were treated to the perfect breakfasts to set us up for the day - two full english and one vegetarian option. We got ourselves ready and went out for the day exploring the beautiful local area and taking in plenty of fresh Cornish sea air. We spent the evening in the local pub before retiring for another restful sleep in the warm, comfortable beds. The next morning we had one Jacqui's speciality breakfast (smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast - delicious), a scrambled egg on toast (all eggs from Jacqui's own chickens of course) and another full english. Unfortunately it was then time to leave - we really couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We would all happily go back to see Jacqui and George (plus Charlie and Amber - two delightful little dogs) for another stay in their home.

Chris, thank you for your review. Despite the weather {wet and very windy} you all had a good weekend which goes to show its the company and not the weather that makes a good time.

We stayed with Jacqui and George in the summer and booked again so we could spend NYE in beautiful Cornwall. Jacqui is a fantastic host and makes your stay welcoming, friendly and comfortable. We brought our spaniel along with us and Jacqui made sure her stay was as good as ours!! We will no doubt be back again in the future!!

We had a lovely short weekend stay at Ragstones, The rooms were perfectly presented and provided a wonderful nights sleep. Breakfast was fantastic in the morning with fresh local produce and eggs laid that very morning! Perfect location to setup base from as we did our shopping for Christmas.. Jacqui was fantastic at guiding us to great places to visit whilst we were there. Looking forward to next time!

Room Tip: Showers larger in the left hand room! other than that they both are equally lovely

We had a really nice welcome from Jacqui with a welcome pot of tea and homemade cake.
The room was a good size and had eveyting you would expect from a quality B&B - breakfast was exceptional with pots of homemade jam and marmalade with freshly laid eggs from Jacqui's chucks.
We stayed there during our research for the new Velowest Cycle Route that passes the Eden Project on NCN305 - would not hesitate to recommend and would certainly book again.
Jacqui is happy to look after cyclists for one night out of the main summer season.

My mom and I stayed at Ragstones for one night, and would definitely stay there again if down that side of the world. Jackie was very welcoming, and provided some great ideas on where to go for dinner along the coast. The room was large, neat and tidy. The bed was very very comfortable. They have a great garden which we wondered around. Breakfast was awesome, we both had fresh fruit and yoghurt, and orange juice. Then salmon & scrambled eggs, and fresh coffee. It was a great start and kept us going well into the afternoon for our excursions at The Eden Project. This was a great over night stay and value for money. Thanks for a lovey stay Jackie.

We were greeted by Jacqui. She made us coffee served with home made cake on arrival in the conservatory. Large airy room over looking the garden, well furnished, 2 tub chairs, tea, coffee making facilities, bottled water & biscuits. Large hand soap, shampoo etc in the bathroom to use.
Extras like cotton buds, cotton wool balls, hairspray & hand cream available to use in the bedroom too. Comfortable bed but we were too hot. Good breakfast cooked to our request. Cereal available but we didn't have it. Thanks so much Jacqui, high recommended possibly the largest room we had at a B&B while touring the UK.

My husband and I stayed here to attend a wedding at the Eden Project. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome with a cup of tea and a piece of yummy lemon cake. We relaxed instantly. The room had everything we needed and the bed was so comfy. The next morning we had a wonderful breakfast and then walked (a much needed walk after a wedding and very doable!) back to the Eden Project to collect our car. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Jacqui and George I would recommend you to anyone.
